Stopped losing weight...

HI everyone, I need some help..

I started SW 2 years ago and lost 5 stone, but spent the last 6 months at SW just losing and gaining the same pounds. So I made the switch to WW and started losing again, yay. I've now lost about 6.5 stone, but have come to a grinding holt over the last 3 to 4 weeks.

I've tried using points at different times of the day, am exercising 5 days a week at the gym and drinking plenty of water. I'm trying to cook from scratch and avoiding too many carbs etc. Why are the scales not moving? Am getting annoyed now, I love WW and don't want to move, but am getting desperate. My clothes don't feel much looser so don't think it's muscle rather than fat.

Any help very much welcome.

My weight loss went really slow, STS or only a pound so last week I reduced my calorie intake to 1000 a day and tracked that on my fitness pal as well as counting points and I lost 5lbs. My thing was I would have between 7-9 points left after dinner and use them all when really I didn't need or want them. I also cut out fizzy drinks. But as your exercising too it may be muscle building up.

Thanks for your reply, I think ur right.... I tend to
Load all my points on to the end of the day, so will try and spread them out more, I don't use my weeklies either but can't get my head around "I'm not losing weight so I should eat more" theory! X

I know what you mean. But I can't say eating less calories and points has made me hungry! I've been freezing WW yogurts at 1pp and having one after dinner. It takes me like 30 mins to eat so I don't want anything after that! X

When do you have your weeklies? I understand that if you spread them unevenly throughout the week, with a peak day, that can help?

Also - are you eating your full allowance? I heard not doing that can reduce the weight loss rate..?

Good luck :)

Because if you eat less your body goes into starvation mode and try's to hang onto the food you do eat :0)

Hi again... I don't eat my weeklies or my exercise points, I know I should eat a few more but it's just makes my head go "Waaaah", I'm desperate to lose weight again, just feels weird that I should eat more to do that. This coming from an ex sw girl who use to eat loads and lose! (I switched 6 months ago) x

I think the eating more thoery is right tbh

Especially if youre doing that much exercise!

Its so hard to do :( guilt.com
but eating points as carbs and snacks did the trick for me as i workout 5-6 days a week.
Starting my day at -300 or so calories.
And rather than use weeklys i use activitys if i have to, as you can always gain them back the next day :)

I could have written this post, I exercise daily and just moved to ww as my weight wint shift, I'm eating healthy, lowish carb, home cooked food etc

Annoying isnt it katoof. My scales have finally dropped a little... Interestingly after not going to the gym for 4 days. I blame exercise! Xxx

It's so annoying, I know I do too much exercise but I'm so good diet wise, and can't understand loosing nothing. Well done on the drop, I'm hoping for one soon as its starting to get to me
