Psst... Something NEW is on the way!

There's been a few suggestions on the WW boards, most of them uncomplimentary! Someone suggested a new range of Asda meals based on the colours in the advert.

I can't imagine they would be changing the points system again, a good indication would be if calculators and scales were being reduced in the classes. They're not at the moment so I think it might be a reshuffle of the rules, maybe points allowances will change or fruit will become pointed.

After the disaster of Propoints introduction, I think they'd be better to be upfront with members rathers than hinting at something exciting. No-one thinks it's good news!

If it's an ASDA range, I honestly couldn't see them advertising it on eSource to be honest. They don't, after all, make a fuss about any of the places that already do their own pointed ranges...heck, it's hard enough to find a full acknowledgement on there of even half the products that Heinz do under the WW banner! Frustrating really that they seem to be fiddling with it every Christmas now.

Why do they change it every November? hope they are bringing back half points that will make things much easier.

Looks like it might be Weight Watchers Active Link. It's an exercise monitor and subscription website. In the US it costs $40 and the subscription is $5 a month.

I was wondering why they have just reduced all of there books down to half price in group... Wonder if it has anything to do what this...

Yes, I was wondering this. Can't be changing the points again surely? Perhaps it's the half point comeback?

Mmmm, I do wonder what this is!

I hate it when they keep us guessing like this, surely if they know that there is a tweak to the plan or something that will make our weight loss journeys more sucessful, they should release it instead of making us wait a few weeks. I mean Christmas is only round the corner, and I know I can do with as much help as i can get.

I don't think its the active link as thats only on the USA website at the moment. Maybe half points - in our class all the recipe books, the calculators and the food directory are all half price.

Hope it is not pointing fruit?

I hope they do bring back half points, that was so much better and so less confusing than rounding up and down.
I heard that it was something to do with the way we calculate activity points.
I suppose we are not going to know until next month! I hate waiting!

Yes, the reason it's only on the US site is because it is only available over there at the moment. Once it is launched here it will be put on the UK site. The colours in their advertising banner on the UK site match all the branding colours of the Active Link.

I was reading some articles on the WW site this morning (I'm an online member) and noticed they mention half propoints in a few of them. Here's one

Active Benefits: Cardiovascular

Hopefully it will be viewable to all! Scrolling right down it mentions 45 mins exercise being worth 2.5 pp.

I so hope it is half points! I hate having to work out whether to round up or down when having more than one of something! x
