Buffet nightmare!!

Hi all,

I've got my works Christmas party this weekend (I work in retail, so Christmas party @ Christmas - no chance!!). It should be a good laugh etc... I'm planning on only having a couple of wines (9pp), my fear though is the buffet....

It's a two course 'sit down' buffet - I haven't the foggiest what that even means!! If anyone has any ideas on what's good & what's not / what to avoid, how to cope etc... That would be great :) I don't just want to fill up on food before I go, I wang to enjoy it!! I reckon I'll have about 20-25pp to okay with ;)

I work in a hotel, where a sit down buffet is usually a hot and cold/formal buffet. As opposed to finger food, you help yourself to things like lasagne, chicken curry etc x
