    Slim for Spring 2013

    As it says in the title, id like to get Slim for Spring in 2013 (and summer, autumn and winter) and just wondered if anyone would like to join me? (sorry if theres already another spring team/challenge, i couldnt see any)

    Im finally restarting tomorrow after using excuse after excuse to avoid it (i now have no excuses left). I turn 30 two months tomorrow and would love to be a stone or more lighter! i have quite a few stone to lose, so will set smaller targets to begin with, my first being 7lbs for a girls night out on 16th Feb!

    Hope some of you would like to join in!

    emmmmmm, dunno lol! From what i can see on other posts, we say what our target is, for spring( which from what ive googled is 21st March) we come on and update each other of progress, tips, ideas, advice, support, and what our weekly weigh in result is, so each week would go something like

    Linzmain -4lbs, 10 to go
    Gemsyo -4lbs, 6 to go
    etc
    etc
    etc

    see what i mean?

    I will weigh in either tonight, or tomorrow morning, probably tomorrow morning tho to see what my start weight is, but i have a good idea! looking forward to getting started tbh, gonna go to gym after work tomorrow too. and will try to be orgenised this week and plan ahead for meals so that im less likely to take a trip to sainsburys when hungry and not sure what im in the mood for, thats a recipe for disaster!

    Are you going to keep Monday as your official WI day then? My WI day is Wednesday, started July 2011 at 13stone 1lb and got to my then target of 10stone 10lb by December 2011. Been maintaining for a year now and now want to get to 9stone 4lbs so should see on Wednesday my first week of losses!

    Planning is the best way to do it. Do our weekly shop knowing what's for eating and always have lots of low point treats just incase! Where are you from? X

    Yeh monday will be my official wi day. I started January 2011, and over about 18 months (on and off) i lost 3 stone. Im now sitting at about a 2 and a half stone loss from Jan 2011 but im just cancelling that off and starting afresh, as when im tempted to go off track, i tell myself och well youve done good, youve lost 3 stone which makes me feel better (till afterwards). So now im looking at it as ive lost nothing yet, if you know what i mean.

    I plan on digging out my old WW magazines and cook book too, and make some recipes from there so that were not tempted to eat the same meals,as we get into a bit of a rut sometimes.

    Im from Dundee, which is bloody baltic today! what about you?

    Yea I know what you mean, probably better just starting from scratch then so you have a totally different mindset.

    I end up eating the meals just out of convenience and I'll try to cook once or twice a week. If you find any nice recipes let me know so I can give it a go hehe

    Weve had snow once today, but was just a little flutter, i can see the hills in the distance tho and their covered. I make a chicken and chorizo jambalaya dish ( i think i originally saw the recipe on here) and its sooo good! Ive also made a few other good ww recipes but i cant really remember them. ill have to dust the books/magazines off tonight and get planning. I usually have a few ww meals in the freezer for convenience, but i always feel cheated afterwards as their so wee.

    Does that mean the snow is probably on its way then? That sounds lovely if I find anything nice I'll let you know. I know they are tiny but I just have it with loads of veg to fill it up and that helps x
