Chinese food- can someone please help !!!!

Well im having a chinese with a friend tonight and i've been having a look at the eating out guide and im very confused and need help!
Am i right that the points are for the whole dish, so if we were to share say 'egg fried rice' it'd be 5 points? And if i had half a portion of 'chicken balls' it'd be 5 points? If so this is far better than i ever imagined! The thought of having a chinese whilst still dieting baffles me. But if these points are correct then it's ok? And how can a whole pot of s+s sauce only be 3 points? I just wanna check before i eat it all and ruin my diet!!!
    Thanks in advance xxx

thank you pet! well its 6 stone 4lbs to date but I still have another 1 stone 3 to go

I know that the average portion of chicken balls WITH sweet and sour sauce is 10 (so obviously 5 if you're sharing) but not sure what they are on their own. Sorry not more help x

The Dominos I have is the small (9.5 inches) which has 6 slices - it's the chicken feast one, at 2.5 points per slice so in total its 15 points.

I know I'm crazy but I always have 2 garlic and herb dips with it cos I love it so much and they are 3 points each!!! (more than the slice!!!!!!) so, that brings it to 21 points. completely worth it though!!

I save for it during the week though, Im on 20 points a day so I usually only have to save around 8 points that week as I only eat 7 on the day I'm having my pizza.

I know what you mean about getting your head around eating this sort of food and still loosing weight - I found that really hard to get my head around!!, but I'm not complaining!!

If anyone asks, I lost the weight eating Dominos pizzas and crunchies!! he he! x

Morning, I'm having chinese today to. I've saved up 27 points and I am taking my kids to the pictures and McDonalds too!. I'm going to have a chicken nuggett happy meal which I think is 7 (with diet coke) and tonight i'm going to have beef in black bean sauce - according to the Eating Out Guide is 7 - and plain chow mein. I'm not sure about the point vale of this as it is not actually plain boiled noodles but stir fried ones with bean sprouts - think i'll count it at 10??.
