Hello again WW...

Hey everyone,

Some of you may remember me from back in 2010-2011, I started WW for the first time just before Halloween 2010. I got down to around 11st (from 14st 10lb) and then it all went horribly wrong. I am now back up to 14st and feeling like a horrible failure.
I don't have the same mindset I had before, I think my confidence has something to do with that.
The stupid thing is, I look back on when I was 11st and think 'I was so skinny! I would love to be 11st!' And yet at the time I thought I was so fat! Ridiculous!!!
Anyways I digress.
I'm trying to get back on the wagon now, so any advice or help is more than welcome and appreciated.

Hi Leah, Well done on making another go of it.. all good in my book and you're not a failure just human like the rest of us with all our ups and downs, so stop thinking about it as that and just get on and do it... As has been said... you've done it once so it should be a lot easier this time as you don't have to learn all the pros and cons.

So far it's been ok. Nearly ate I've cream tonight but stopped myself.
And thanks! Hopefully will be easier this time round :)

Hey ! :) if you've done it before you can def do it again ! Resolve to make this the last time you do it:) I find visualizing myself slimmer helps a great deal. I have a bunch of slim photos for inspiration on my iPhone that I look at a lot too - that helps . I started at 12.10, now am 11.3 ( but I weigh in tmrw so hope to be less then!) and want to be 10, by Feb or sooner if possible ! Good luck - nothing changes if nothing changes and time passes just the same whether you diet or not, but if you do, you WILL be 11 stone again xx
 
Don't feel bad about trying again - I would think 90% of us have lost and regained (more than once in my case!). Just start again as if this was your first time.

I am now back to good old WW again. Lost loads on Cambridge & started to regain so have been going with a friend to Slimming World but although I have stuck to their plan I have only lost 7lbs in 6 weeks and 6 of those were in the first week! I think it's just too much food for me.

So I started again on-line yesterday so fingers crossed.
 
I think the hardest part of doing WW is actually committing to starting (or restarting as many of us have done).

I found that once I had been at it for a few days, I had regained control of my life and I wondered why I had been half-heartedly dieting for the last couple of years and why I had put the commitment off for so long.

Stick at it and you won't look back - you know all this already but it does no harm to remind you how good it will make you feel.

That's so true, I put off the 'start' for so long. Now that I've started I feel so much better. I think I've eaten a bit too much today, but tomorrow is a new day! Onwards and downwards...I like that!!!

Its going ok, although in the run up to christmas there has been a few xmas meals (3 in total! ><) so ive run out of weeklies this week, but im not in the minuses, which is good, hopefully earn some activity points as well this week. I had a STS last week too, but at least I didnt put on!
