Hi I've been doing the pro points plan for a week and have lost 3lbs. What is everyone's average weekly loss does this sound right? Am following 26-28 points per day as I'm not exactly what I should have as leader was v vague! I'm 35 female 13st 5lb and 5'8.

Also is there a recipie thread any where as I don't want to get bored!

Welcome and good luck, i lost 3lb in my first week too i generally lose between 1-2lb a week. I am working it out that you should be on 30pp a day.

Dont understand how your leader could not tell you what propoints you should be on a day, their machine calculates it for them. They are meant to tell you the points the first day you go to them how else are you suppose to follow the diet.

Ok so now I sound odd! She is a leader but I've not been to meetings. She is a friend of a friend who said go for 26-28 pp per wk. I don't want to get any one in to trouble. All I have is the basic book and I working from that.
 
I just thought maybe you had gone to a slimming world one instead lol. I think you would be on the higher point as I am on 26 and I am at (started on)12st. It doesn't matter on here if you go to class or not, whatever suits you. Good luck anyway.
 
Doesnt matter if you dont go to meeting lot of people of this site dont, i stopped going to mine two weeks ago doing it from home now as cant afford it. I used the link below to calculate your propoints daily. got it off someone on here before, i put in my details at beginning and it was the same propoints that my leader told me so im sure it is correct with your details

if you have an iphone there are some great apps that will calculate it for you when you begin and while you are losing weight

i weigh 12st 9 n am on 30 points...
i dont go to meetings but track and point on an app called value diary which i highly recommend it is like a cheap version of the ww app n is so helpful!!
then i just weigh in at local chemist every week for just 50p :) much cheaper!

That app is my life. Id be lost without it

It's great isn't it?
 
Am I the only one who finds it difficult to use that app? :( I've decided to subscribe to WW itself so I can have the proper app (although I wish it had a barcode scanner like my fitness pal!!!)

No a friend of mine thought it was really difficult. But like if you're out and you scan a bar code with it the points pop up. I find that the handiest if I go to buy something and it tells me if it's a no no or a yesss
 
I think the colour scheme, and it's really busy looking. Then the fact that there's nothing in the database that I search for, and when I do find it you can't be precise with your portion size :/ I did forget that it had a barcode scanner on it though!

im grateful of it as i cant really afford to join the ww meetings! so it keeps me goin :) x
 
Yeah I do just online only, as I can just afford that.

Now that you've mentioned the colour scheme its all I can see is bombarded with horrible colours. You're right its very confusing. I stick to the scanner. life saver!
