    Need more motivation so hoping WW is the one!!!

    Hello everyone!!! New to WW pro points but did use the old points system previously. Bit of background into my reason for picking WW... sorry to bore you!!! In June I started using my fitness pal combined with the gym and lost 1.5 stones in 5 weeks but it all went a bit wrong in August when I ended up in hospital with what they now think is a neurological condition but still no idea aa to what that condition is as yet so I ended up giving up completely on everything due to being ill and skint as I was off work. Although I'm still not great and can't do the gym I have kept 12lbs off and thought WW would be good way to get back into it as I feel I need a bit more support these days!!! Started today so looking forward to a good first week!!!

    How does WW work with very minimal exercise???

    Welcome and well done for not putting on all the weight again,

    i love weight watchers as if you stick to your points you will lose it, i dont do much exercise at all just bit of walking most days and i have lost weight. I tried if for a few weeks doing lots of exercise and i didnt lose any extra weigth those weeks so said no point killing myself. I am going to lose majority of weight first then use exercise to tone up. That is for me anyway other people may find they lose more by doing exercise.

    Thanks Sweet as Pie.

    I tried going back to my fitness pal but just found I was starving as I had no exercise calories to eat back. I done WW on the old point system but that was when I had about half a stone to lose!!! I only started yesterday but I liked having a wee kitkat with my tea and some crisps without feeling bad about it!!!

    Glad to hear without too much exercise it's working... I need to get some walking in but unfortunately can't do more than that for now!!!

    I'm glad it's working without having to do a whole load of exercise as I found that was a major issue with the last plan I done!!! Finding propoints a bit strange as I did do the old plan for a bit but back then I only had about half a stone to lose!!!

    I'm similar to you I lost 4 stone in a yearwith Mfp and gym 3-4 times a week. But after an all inclusive holiday I just never got back in the swing for my final 2 stone! I was just hovering on the same weight and decided on ww like you for more support and also for a bit of excitement!

    I used to work out 5 days a week when I first started WW pro points system. But weeks when I would burst my heart working out I would stay the same and felt extremely disheartened.
    I stick to walking (as I have dogs) and with walking small distances a couple of times a day / week it does the trick
    WW is great because you will lose it even if you arent working out
    June 2012 - June 2013 -28lbs *was -42lbs but put back on +14lbs

    i agree with tha... iv tried both, i used to go gym 4 times a week n then id put on or sts! used to be really gutted as i felt j had worked hard!
    aint been to the gym for ages the only thing i do is walk and i can still lose or maintain!
    so dont worry about that n good luck

    1.5lbs off!!! Was a bit dissapointed but then I remembered the amount I ate and drank at my night out and my lack of counting the rest of the weekend I'm now pretty impressed!!!
