Can i really eat what i want

Well.... It depends on what you understand to be "eating healthily" really.

The only way to lose weight is to lower your calorie intake and increase your exercise. Weightwatchers is the same concept but instead of counting calories, the nutritional information has been worked out for you and turned into "points" so it's a friendlier and easier way to meet your needs throughout the day.

I lost 24lbs in 6 months with WW counting points. I'm now on the diet again to reach a new goal and in the past two weeks have lost 3.5lbs. I haven't felt "deprived" and I have definitely eaten more healthily anyway but within my point allowance.

Well done on your loss that's amazing. I am making healthier choices but not as good as I no I should but still sticking to my points. I have lost 1.3k between mon and sat. Changing my weigh day to say so see how I go with a full week. I have bought ready meals for tea for the next 5 days to make things as easy as I can for myself. I need to loose a huge amount 44 k or there about so need to no if all else fails I have a quick option. My son has just gotten over chicken pox and now has ear ache so cutting myself some slack as I am really tired but need to get through the next few weeks. I no that when I start to notice a difference it will really motivate me :)

Congrats so far! Yes I think what doesn't get said enough is you need to learn to cut yourself done slack. Some people can diet 24/7 365 days a year.... But life goes on and sometimes we need to do something that isn't to plan! If you start feeling guilty it will do worse for your diet than those extra few points!

Plus, you have your 49pp weeklies to use! I didn't use any last week but have used em all just on Saturday as I had a party to go to and didn't wanna deprive myself counting points all night!

You just have to stick to it! Sounds simple but give yourself motivation.... Buy a piece of clothing that's a bit too small and work to fit into it!

Have £1 for every 1lb lost and put it in a jar so you can see it build up!

Have a poster that you can tick off your losses each week to physically see it going down!

Take measurements too!! And pictures! Sometimes our successes aren't always visible on the scales! :)
