Well.... It depends on what you understand to be "eating healthily" really.
The only way to lose weight is to lower your calorie intake and increase your exercise. Weightwatchers is the same concept but instead of counting calories, the nutritional information has been worked out for you and turned into "points" so it's a friendlier and easier way to meet your needs throughout the day.
I lost 24lbs in 6 months with WW counting points. I'm now on the diet again to reach a new goal and in the past two weeks have lost 3.5lbs. I haven't felt "deprived" and I have definitely eaten more healthily anyway but within my point allowance.
