Hello everyone.

Once again, im coming back to Minimins

A few years ago I lost several stone doing SW from home with the help of Minimins and I honestly couldn't have done it without you. Groups are just not my thing.

Im Starting WW next week and will be going to meetings for a few weeks, but money is tight and I just don't feel comfortable in groups. Just checking in to say hi and get my head round things. Need to get a feel for healthy heating again and curb my alcohol intake. But im so uncomfortable and self consiouse, im willing to make the changes needed.

Any advice or recommendations you can give me will be greatly appreciated. Im a working mum to a 2 year old toddler and 34 year old partner and there both as fussy as each other when it comes to food so any budget meals for one greatly welcolmed.

Hi and welcome to the ww board. Anything you need just ask. The good thing about ww is that you can have ready meals and stuff out of the freezer if you dont want to cook. I cant be bothered some nights so its great for me. Good luck

I've recently joined WW and am finding counting Pro Points is working better for me than the Simple Start plan. I choose foods where I can from the filling & healthy list but I need the portion control of counting PP's. It would be a bucketful of Spaghetti Bolognese if I didn't! Also, I tend to keep to no more than 2 portions of fruit a day and fill-up on loads of vegetables.

I'd recommend checking out the food diaries - there are some really good ideas on there. You are probably going to be doing simple start the first couple of weeks but you can go straight onto pro points if you prefer. I have never done simple start so cant tell you much about it but do have a friend who did it recently and lost 6 1/2lb the first week and she really pleased. It does fit in well with families though.
