I have been recently diagnosed with an under active thyroid. I was just wondering if any one else has this and are lossing weight through filling and healthy? I'm thinking of changing to points to control how much i eat as sometimes i feel like a bottomless pit when i feel really tired! Also how do people exercise last week i walked 3 days for around an hour a day and i spent the weekend wrecked could barely get out of bed i'm only coming around a bit now! I know they say you should exercise but i just don't know how to motivate myself!

Hey...I too have an underactive thyroid. It's horrible isn't it. If you've recently been diagnosed I presume you'll be working up your tablets till you get the right dose? You'll feel a lot better once that's sorted. It is harder to lose weight. I did Cambridge and lost two and a bit stone- before putting it immediately back on. I've joined ww as I want to change long term not short term. I think I'd eat too much if I was unrestricted (I even think I eat too much fruit) but if it's working for you it's worth a try? I am only on week 2...lost weight last week but fear I won't this week! (Have polycystic ovaries too- im a walking disaster!) I find the points really good with lots of freedom. Anyway GOODLUCK and hope it's going well x
