I havent used all my points every day but have carried over a few, wait til you see me complaining next week about not having enough lol Im sticking to Tesco meals this week, the ones with the WW points on them, anything to make this first week easier and maintain the enthusiasm. Went out for the first time in a week tonight, to the garage for magazines. When I was there I had the most awful craving for a sausage roll, really fancied one and beans. But I was really good though and checked the fat content!! 9.2 sat fat in a sausage roll so it went straight back on the shelf!! Ill need to hunt down some WW ones!! Im off work for at least another week which is good, lets me get well into my stride before Im back. Hopefully by then the Xmas Chocolates will all be finished ![]() |

My Mood: Rep Power: 33 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Diet: Weight Watchers | You're doing fantastically well. I don't actually think it is psychological. When you think about how quickly food is digested and passed through the system - I know if I have something really greasy, like chip shop fish and chips, for dinner, I feel ill that evening! Where I've been on and off eating healtily for years now, when I do have something like take away my body doesn't like it. However it is so motivating when you stick to it! Just knowing that you're doing something makes you feel better in yourself! Congratulations on doing so well! Keep it up, if you feel this good after a few days, imagine how you'll feel after a week... or a month!! Especially when you've lost weight! ![]() |

Having that is another thing that makes it easier sticking to things. Got my shopping list compiled for tomorrow. Im loving the Diet Flora, one teaspoon does a slice of toast no problem, its great only using half a point instead of one for 2 slices of bread/toast. I always eat toast in 2's lol Other fave snack of the week is a small tin of spaghetti, 2 slices of toast and diet flora - 4 points in total. Im so impatient I want immediate results but I know WW is the way to go for me, so Im sticking with it and still feeling great ![]() |

I don't actually think it tastes as bad as people say, in fact I think it tastes better then Flora Light. Something I do when I have beans or spaghetti on toast, is have some Marmite on the toast rather than butter/flora. It's free, and makes it taste different... Of course it only works if you like Marmite. ![]() |

Im not the best patient in the world so have stayed put. I really cant be bothered with constant attention and 'Can I get you x, y or z' I relented yesterday and went down, great idea, we had our first fall out at 8pm, over the PC ironically lol The hardest thing is to resist the comfort eating when Im there. Theres something so nice about being home, but my goodness the cups of tea etc they have dont half mount up. Had a lovely low points dinner, chicken and super noodles, but nearly came a cropper at supper when dad made toasted cheese for himself, my dad makes THE BEST toasted cheese in the world. I couldnt however resist the bacon roll for lunch today, but I did count the points. Still Im home now, and back to my fully packed low fat fridge and all the other WW goodies I have. Have you seen the range WW have now??? I dont know where to start lol Hate their meals, love their cakes/brownies etc. Who says dieting cant be fun ![]() |

Im still feeling positive and enthusiastic, long may that continue!!!! I came home from my parents with a ton of messages, all low fat and WW goodies, they are SO supportive its lovely. I know theres nothing they would like to see more than me, not necessarily slim, at 5ft 11 with size 9 feet and 'big bones' lol Im never going to be dainty, but they (and I) would settle for a nice healthy weight. I want to be able to go shopping for clothes, and basically go out more. My self confidence is so low I dont even like going out socially, I prefer to socialise at home, or a friends house. Im sick and tired of wearing the same clothes too, but I have no enthusiasm for buying anything just now, I have such little choice. I have a whole wardrobe full of, not thin clothes, just less overweight ones which I cant wait to get into!!! I suppose the next thing I need to work up to is some exercise, at the moment I dont walk any further than to my car lol Unfortunately I dont stay within walking distance of any shops, who am I kidding, even if I did, at the moment Id take the car. Still thats all things that are on my 'will do' list..... Slowly and surely I WILL get there ![]() |

My Mood: Rep Power: 401 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Diet: Weight Watchers Height: 5' 11" Start Date: Jan 09 2007 | Well a successful first week. 6lbs off Im absolutely delighted... I was at my parents tonight for a belated birthday dinner for dad, this is what I like about WW. We had Chinese, while it wasnt my first choice I opted for chicken fried rice because I know the points in that, and even had a glass of wine. Its nice to be able to still participate in these things and not feel your sacrificing either the meal or your diet. As Ive mentioned before my brother has 2 daughters, Emma (almost 4, going on 22) and Ciara (3 months). One of the main reasons for going at the diet 110% is I KNOW Im affecting my health and slowly killing myself. The real shock I got tonight was my brother pretty much said as much to my mum tonight too, said he was concerned for my health and wanted me to be an active part of his girls lives as they grow up, not just someone they remember. He was actually ready to have a talk with me, and give me some much needed home truths but is delighted Ive taken the steps myself. My brother is a man of few words at times which has meant his words have impacted on me even more. Its made me even more determined than I was to stick at this. Im not doing it now just for myself... |

After all that happened yesterday (my 6lbs loss has really paled into insignificance) I was meant to be meeting my best pal for lunch today. Id gone into things with him last night about what was said at my parents and got quite upset and emotional. As we were on MSN at the time it really wasnt ideal. We decided to have a really good chat about things today. The snow put the brakes on that, the weather was too bad to travel. Usually it would be just 'one of those things' but today it hit me really really badly. So much so I couldnt/wouldnt even talk to my poor mum when she called. I know, it seems a huge over reaction but I think when I was really down already another blow wasnt what I needed. Im hoping we can reschedule within a few days. My friend is someone whos opinion I really really value, and who talks an awful lot of sense, and I feel I really needed that today. Im sitting in front of the TV with a Take Away Menu within sight and am struggling not to lift that phone and order pizza!! |
