What advice has the leader given you? Have you thought about the Wendie Plan, I know you have said you don't fancy it because it wasn't invented by WW but it was invented by a lady following WW and loads of people successfully use it when they have hit a plateau. It might be that your body needs confusing up a little to kickstart it into losing weight, might be worth trying it for one week, what have you got to lose? Try to stay positive sweetie (even though I realise how difficult that will be at the moment) x |

It's about what to do if you plateau whilst dieting with WW for more than a few weeks.... "If weight loss plateaus after six months of active dieting, experts often recommend a reassessment of weight loss goals. For many, a refocusing of efforts to maintain the weight that has been lost as opposed to continuing active weight loss may be desirable. After a few months of weight maintenance, a return to active weight loss is reasonable." Hope it helps xxx |

"I believe that our bodies are far more complicated than a simple mathematical formula can describe. The body is like a fireplace. If you build a fire, at first it takes awhile to warm up. You add more fuel and it burns more efficiently. The more fuel you add to it, the hotter it burns. Add less fuel, and it begins to cool down." | |

I really and truely believe that plateaus happen because our bodies need them. I have said before that I think you should go down the interim maintenance route and let your body settle itself before the next big push. I think our bodies have a lot to cope with during weightloss and the least we can do is listen to what they need. x |
