Smile Starlights Diary - Due to public demand the diary stays here ;) lol x

Well. now its my turn. Its slightly later than planned but Im feeling better to the extent Im eating again, so DDay is tomorrow.

So, first, I suppose some background. Im 38 and have been overweight to some degree pretty much my whole adult life. Its only the past few years that its got out of hand. For years I was smug, ok I was overweight but it didnt REALLY affect my life. I could still do everything I wanted. Well know what, now it does affect my life, now I CANT do everything I want.

So now, I need to take charge of my life. Because if I dont, then Im slowly killing myself, and I have too much I still want to do to do that to myself.

I have 18 months until Im 40 and by that time I plan on being a whole different person.

I know I can do WW, I did it before for my brothers wedding and I can do it again. I went to classes then though, so it remains to be seen if I can 'go it alone' as successfully, but then Im not going alone really, I think the support and help I get on here will be enough to keep me on the straight and narrow.

So, the scales are ordered, the Tesco.com delivery comes tomorrow afternoon and it'll be full steam ahead.

This WILL be the last diet I start because this one WILL be successful

Welcome Sandy!!! I'm glad you're feeling better! Something that makes it easier for me to stick to the diet is to just take it one day at a time. Every day that you stick to it 100% is a huge extra block of determination and will power!

You will do it!! Just stick with us, we'll keep you going!

Hi Sandy, good to hear such determination - you certainly will do it and this will be your last diet ever. I think you will manage without the meetings because of coming on here. You will get plenty of support and understanding and even a kick up the b*m when you need one! Can I suggest that you get a little piggy bank and put in the money each week that you would have spent on meetings and save it up for the new wardrobe of sexy clothes you are going to need!

First day in! My Tesco.com delivery came today so my fridge and cupboard and full to overflowing with WW and Tesco Low Fat things. I love that Tescos Low Fat range come already pointed for you.

Woke this morning full of enthusiasm and raring to go. I wish I had my scales to get full benefit though.

Have done well so far today, had cereal with milk and a couple of oatcakes for breakfast. Spaghetti on toast and a WW yoghurt for lunch. A WW mini choc roll and coffee this afternoon. Tesco Jambalaya for dinner, followed by Skinny Cow Icecream and I STILL Have points left

I know this is the easy part when your momentum is up and youre full of good intentions, its sustaining this thats the hard bit, but I can do it this time.

Im going to try and post in here every day, I think that'll help me maintain my enthusiasm and hopefully stop me going off the rails.

Isnt this forum addictive.......

I'm with you on the Tesco.com idea, I have my shopping delivered every week and I also LOVE that their Healthy Living range is already marked with ww points! (I've just sat and ordered my shopping for next week and it's ended up a fair bit more expensive than normal because I've had to order all the extra bits that I've picked up from this forum! Oops! My cupboards are going to be bursting when that lot arrives - they might even need to send 2 vans! Lol!).

You're right about this site being addictive, I don't seem to have done much else since starting my diet on Wed, but it's so great and I find it soooo helpful! - as I'm sure you will!
