Pounds & Ounces or Stones & Pounds????

    Hiya

Quick question, is it more accurate to weigh in on the scales in pounds & ounces or Stones and pounds?

Its just i am considerably lighter in lbs and ounces!

Also this will sound silly but if it says 166.8 how do i work it out in stones & pounds?

    xxxx

I would rather use stone and pounds. Oz is a little random as it can change in the space of 10 minutes

It can change if you so much as move a muscle on the scales

There are 14 pounds in a stone and 16 ounces in a pound if that helps

    Thanks everyone ,

i think i will keep to my Stones & pounds as it said i was 11.13lbs which i think is more acurate than 11.9 (166.8) as i was 12.0lb monday!! dont think i have lost 5lbs in 3 days!

I wish.... Still over the moon that i read in the 11s ,havent seen 11 something for about 2 years! Although i shouldnt even be peeking as i dont weigh in till monday!

Im getting into naughty habbit of weighing wid week.... must stop!!

166lbs is 11stone 12lbs and the 8oz take you to almost 11st 13lbs so its the same only harder to work out

That would give you it 0.9 of a stone which would be 1.4 lbs x 0.9

    0.9 means 9/10ths of a stone - not 9lbs.
