    WENDY PLAN

HAS ANYONE TRIED THIS & HAD SUCCESS?

LAST WEEK I STAYED THE SAME WEIGHT AND THIS WEEK HAVE LOST 1/2 POUND SO REALLY FEEL I NEED A BOOST. I HAVE ABOUT 1 1/2 STONE TO LOSE.

I AM ON 18 POINTS A DAY BUT THIS WEEK MOST DAYS ONLY HAD 16 BUT STILL NO GREAT LOSS.

DOES ANYONE KNOW THE DAILY AMOUNTS TO HAVE ON THE WENDY PLAN? I THOUGHT YOU HAD TO HAVE THE HIGH DAY AS FAR AWAY FROM WEIGH DAY AS POSSBILE FROM YOUR WEIGH IN DAY BUT SOMEONE ON THE WW SITE RECOMMENDED TO HAVE IT A COUPLE OF DAYS BEFORE WEIGHING ???

    ANY INFO MOST APPRECIATED

You are supposed to have your high day in the middle of the week- day 4 ideally. I did the wendy plan before, but didn't like it because my high day was very high, if that makes sense and it was just like one big binge. I have a spreadsheet somewhere that will calculate the daily points of the wendy plan for you, I'll have a look see can I find it.

Its for people who find they have hit a plateau- its basically adding up all your points for the week and splitting them a certain way so you have a different amount everyday. It gets your metabolism going again as your body can get used to getting the same amount of calories a day while doing points- this gives it a shock to the system. I know a few women who used it after staying the same weight for a few weeks and the weight started moving again. You're not allowed to use any of your bonus points while doing it.

Rosb- how many points are you allowed a day and I'll tell you the points for the wendy plan.

    hi

    I am on 18 points a day.

If you would work it out for me that would be great.

I weigh in on a Thursday - hence 1/2 pound loss today!

I don't think I'm going to have a go at it... wait until my weight isn't moving and I've stayed the same for a few weeks first I think!

Rosb, would you like to join our February Challenge? There's a thread at the top of the page (it's 'stickied').

Found a bit more about it.

    THE WENDIE PLAN:

This is a redistribution of your weekly points in order to shock your body/metabolism into losing weight if you have hit a plateau.

    For more details visit:

    The Wendie Plan

and to calculate how many points you should be on, go to

    http://www.geocities.com/dinnerlady/wendy_plan.xls

You aren't supposed to follow it for any more than 2 weks at a time. It does seem to work, I lost 5lbs in a fortnight on it ages ago.

    The basic principles are:
Day 1 your normal points allowance +1 point
Day 2 your normal points allowance -2 point
Day 3 your normal points allowance +10 point
Day 4 your normal points allowance -4 point
Day 5 your normal points allowance +1 point
Day 6 your normal points allowance -2 point
Day 7 your normal points allowance -4 point

I think I might have a go next week, and see how get on with it. Be interesting to see
