So today my Doc prescribed me Xenical, I start tomorrow, although I have eaten healthily today I was worried about the donner kebab I had yesterday & what would happen with the fat from that.......

So tomorrow morning I will be shopping for all the healthy stuff I need, I am actually so excited about the thought of nice chicken stir-fry for tea tomorrow night.

I have had a look on my fitness pal & to lose 1.5lb a week its 1550 cals & for 2lb its 1300, not sure I can manage on 1300 so might go for the 1550 & see how the loss is with that & drop if it doesn't work.

Onwards & downwards we go....

Great to 'meet' you. Definitely start with the higher calories as you've got to have something to drop to if you plateaux. Good luck.

Thanks...

Today's food has been

Breakfast
Banana
30g cornflakes & 25g raisins with 250ml semi skimmed milk

Lunch
4 rice cakes
50g cottage cheese - OMG never again, it was like eating vomit!!!
8 seafood sticks
3 satsumas

Tea
200g chicken breast
Mahusive stir fry

That's about 1300 calories and 18g of fat all day but no food more than 5% fat, hope I've done it right. If not guess it'll be Hello Mr Tango!!!!

Hi you could try skimmed milk.. Which would shave a few cals off, you could have bit more fruit etc.. I don't like shop bought cottage cheese.. I make my own is much much nicer!

Have you looked at myfitnesspal app for iPhone.. They also have a web page to. Thus app is free and has almost every item you can buy in the supermarket added in the food lists.. You can also add your own recipes to check cal levels etc..

Fruit like apples/ pears with a better GI level than satsumas.. Is what I ment

Thanks for your reply. I've bought skimmed milk now, am not really a milk fan at all but want to try & avoid bread as it bloats me so went for cereal breakfast, may have scrambled eggs today.... I've got apples but satsumas are my favourite (probably cos they make me think of Xmas) so I treat myself with them.

I've got mfp that's how I worked all the calories out. I used to pay for something very similar so this being free was fab!

Todays food diary as follows, work tonight so has to be something easy that I can warm in my 10 minute break...

Breakfast
2 slices wholemeal bread
Tinned tomatoes

Lunch
Large mixed salad (lettuce, tom, cue, white cabbage, carrot, onion)
240g chicken breast
low fat balsamic dressing

Tea
Bachelors savoury rice beef flavour
brocolli, cauli & carrots

Snacks
Banana
2 satsumas

so far 4 glasses of water but it's only 2pm...

Just had my first poo that I would class as slightly abnormal.... May just have been the massive amount of stir fried veg I ate last night mind

:8855:at the poo comment. Popping by to say hello and wish you luck for the week ahead :)

Today's diet has been as follows;

Breakfast was cornflakes & raisins with 125ml milk & a banana

Lunch was gorgeous Ainsley Harriott mushroom Cous Cous with 8 seafood sticks & a huge mixed salad with low fat balsamic dressing

Tea was a small jacket spud, chicken breast, cauli, broccoli & carrot

Am completely and utterly stuffed!!!!!!

and i bet you feel good for it tho, being stuffed with healthy food is better than being stuffed with junk! (as I have learnt today....Naughty me, will pay for it tommorow)x

Take a look at those seafood sticks and see what's actually in them, I don't mean fat, cals but actually what they're made from. I know some types of reformed fish produce can make your poo change because of the natural oils present....

loving your breakfast, the fact that you have something good and it's usually 2 things is great, especially the toms on toast...brilliant!!

Ah but ignorance is bliss hey lol!

Yeah I've not normally done breakfast or I've had a cereal bar so it's brain retraining!

Today food diary is as follows

Breakfast was cereal & raisins minus the bloody milk I forgot to take to work

Lunch
2 pitta bread filled with ham salad & a banana

Tea
Mushroom risotto - can't wait!!!!!!

Oh no! Cereal without Milk lol. Bet that was a bit dry. Hope you remember the milk today :)

Am really looking forward to weigh in on Saturday!
