My journey back to me!

Hi to all who may read. I began my journey back to me 3 weeks ago with the aid of the little blue pill. The doctor prescribed them as my last attempt to lose weight before I head for surgery. In all honesty I wasn't looking forward to them after reading about the "side effects" but I can easily say up to now it has been the best decision I have made. I haven't suffered anything in terms of being tangoed as I have stuck firmly within the rules of how much fat I am eating and I have noticed that my need to snack seems to have gone and I'm happy with my 3 meal per day.

In terms of weight loss. Saturday is my weigh day and in 3weeks I have lost an incredible 19lb. I could not be happier. I am aware that this is due to the big loss I had in the first week which was 11lb followed by week 2 which took me to my first stone at a 3lb loss and today showed a 5lb loss. I'm due to go back to the doctor on Friday or my first month check up and for the first time ever I don't mind being weighed as I know I have well.

Hi , I have just started today, it good to know you have had good losses, gives me hope :) can I ask what you are eating? just to get some ideas :)

Hi. Thanks Rach I have to say I've impressed myself x Jules, nice to meet a fellow newbie. In terms of food I have not eaten anything over the 5g fat per 100g. My first week started quite safe I stuck mainly to stir fry and chicken with veg. Next week I started developing a taste for quorn so it was pasta Bol and chilli. Last I had quorn curry made with weight watchers sauce and weight watchers pizza shared with my OH and little one with jacket pot and salad. For lunches I've had soups or chicken salad wraps with either sweet chilli or Nandos lemon sauce dribbled in to give it a bit of taste. Breakfasts have been activia breakfast yoghurt ( a bit of an obsession of mine at the moment) or weight watchers bagel with a scraping of very low fat philli cheese. I've been eating muller light chocolate puddings with my main meal to get my chocolate kick in and I discovered last week that there are some weight watcher crisps that I can eat to help with my crisp problem. Not once have I considered myself on a diet I just think about he food I can't eat as it makes me poorly. I haven't really been craving anything yet though I'm sure the time will come. I've even managed to eat out a few times and I no longer feel bad about asking for something different that isn't quite on the menu.
 
Thank you, for the food info, have lots of ideas to try :) I love activia yogs too, haven't tried the breakfast ones-will be added to the shopping list :)

Well I am pleased that I am on the little blue pills tonight as really want to eat a Chinese takeaway. Not just any chinese food but sweet and sour battered chicken with half fried rice and half chips. I don't even think I'm particularly hungry more of a craving because I haven't had one for almost 5weeks which is a bit of a record for me tbh :) my will power isn't strong enough yet but I know I won't order one as I don't want to be tangoed :)
 
Well today is week 6 weigh in and I have to say I'm pretty happy with my results. I've lost 3lb this week (was 6 on Xmas morning but that was due to being poorly) which makes it 29lb in total sine I started on the xen. I am so happy that I have made the 2stone mark. Now next week I'm looking forward to seeing the next stone number down as I'm only a lb away. Another plus this week is I'm fitting into another top that I bought but it didn't fit nice. Going to have a whole new wardrobe at this rate :) x
 
Thanks Tracy x it's weigh day tomorrow but I've been really patchy both with pill taking and eating (well it was Xmas :)) so I'm not expecting much if anything for tomorrow. However I'm back to it now so onwards and downwards xxx You have done super well and I look forward to a time when I have managed to achieve in weight loss terms what you have x
