With Xenical you have to follow a very low fat diet with the health problems that go with it or else suffer the liquid oil runs that accompany Xenical. You would be better off sticking with Atkins and proving your doctor wrong. Carbs compromise the immune system and you will need the meat and eggs to combat your anaemia. Xenical and a high carb low fat diet will make both these conditions worse. It's up to you to decide which you want, oily poo and health problems or a healthy immune system and blood with Atkins. For me it would be a no brainer. If your doctor didn't tell you what sort of diet to eat then she obviously too keen to prescribe without knowing the full story.

My doctor actually said it didnt work mostly because by doing WW Im following a low fat diet anyway so there isnt much for my Xenical to work with.

You might think i am mad but

Ok i know everyone is going to think i am crazy but i have been taking xenical for 3 days today is day 3,i went back and had a good chat with the nurse about diet and she gave some stuff to read,i have had no side effects apart from a bit of wind but thats it and i have lost 3lbs,i just couldnt stand the thought of doing inductoin again,i am feeling really well compared to the last couple of weeks,i have been eating lots of fruit and veg, dont know how long i am going to stay on the xenical but i thought i might aswell try them untill they run out.Lucyxx

I had awful side effects, and I was following a low fat diet. I didn't even lose that much weight on them

I lost about a stone on them. I then went on holiday and couldn't get back to the healthy eating way when I got back so took them when I was being "good" but If i fancied a blow out I just didn't take them. I f your committed they do work.

Sometimes being committed isnt enough. I took them religiously and they didnt make the slightest bit of difference
