I started Atkins last week weighing 11st 3lbs. I have lost 5lbs in my first week. I am doing the diet with my husband. We chose Atkins as its the only diet that suits us both.
I want to do a diary with pics so I can see my progress.

Today has been another good day, I have done a big shop and cleaned all the fridge and cupboards out so its now Atkins friendly!
B - boiled egg
L - smoked salmon and prawn salad
D - steak peppercorn sauce and cauliflower cheese.
Has anyone suffered from aching legs on atkins? I was awake last night with it and its driving me mad.
Anyway today was an early fry up for brekkie as I couldn't sleep.
Lunch was a smoked salmon and prawn salad.
Dinner will be fish with a watercress sauce and asparagus tips and broccoli.
Yes it's common in the very early days - you need a bit more salt in your diet and that should sort it out. It's just down to unbalanced electrolytes as you flush all that water out.
Thanks for your help thought I was going mad!! I have had lots of pork scratching in the pub tonight to increase my salt. I knelt down in work today and was in agony !
Still 100% Atkins! I feel like I have more energy too which is weird.

D - lamb shank, sausage, broccoli sticks and cauliflower.
Is that why I have more energy? I thought I would be so tired with out carbs. Thanks for the info xx
