Ok, so did far fast last week after being on strict induction for 2 weeks and losing nothing. Lost 2.5kg but after going back on to induction 3 days in I've gained almost 1.5kg :-(
Feeling so demotivated! I'm in ketosis exercising drinking water what else can I do?!?!?

Hi tee,
Welcome!
why not post your food dairy so we can see how you are doing and may be able to offer advice as to what to change, on induction unless you'd came straight from a vlcd you should be losing.

After being soooo good yesterday I crumbled :-( a whole bar of green and blacks expresso chocolate. Feel bloated and have a sore throat, unrelated but feel like poop!
My jeans are feeling tight round my thighs, not sure if all the Davina squats and lunges are right for my thighs........
Struggling to drink water this week too, need some inspiration! Gonna have squash just to get fluid jntake back up, just hope the sweetners don't have the opposite effect.

I could cry :-(

Davina done, 2 large glasses of water.

Streaky bacon and 2 fried eggs with mayo and 1 vine tomato for brunch with a coffee with double cream and 1 sweetner.

Decided for tea I'm gonna have a large mushroom and cheese omelette, will have a plate full of florrette salad and a couple of slices of peppers.

Hi :)

I've put on more weight :-( no fair!!!!

Food today, 2 fried eggs and 2 portobello mushrooms cooked in butter with a coffee with 2 sweetners and 4 tsp double cream.

Snack bag of pork scratching and a babybel and 3 pints of sf blackcurrant squash.

Tea tonight is pork ribs cooked in diet coke and soy sauce with a veg stir fry, if the ribs defrost that is!

Feeling bloated, drinking more due to it being so hot, not much of a appetite but here's food for today:

Brunch: 2 egg omelette with 1 portobello mush cooked in butter, 1 vine tomatoe

Pm: coffee with 2 sweetner & 4 tspn double cream

Dinner: 3 small pieces of fish, 10 king prawns, butter 2 tspn pesto
1 mim, 2 tbspn flax, 1 tbspn almond flour, 1 tspn Hershey's cocoa powder, 1 egg, 1 tbspn butter, 1 tspn coconut oil

4 pints of weak sugar free squash

Back on Davina tomorrow, hope its a bit cooler.

Need to get the scales moving :-(

Stick with it tee and you will see :)

sorry the scales are going up and you reached for the green and blacks previously, I've been doing the same.....I need someone to really sharply shatter a bat over my head grrrr.

hope you are having a great day?

Hi again Goldilukes!

It's beautiful outside, if this hay fever lifts and I can actually breath I will be sticking on Davina!

Food for today, cupboards are bare :-( it's going to have to be mushroom omelette then hit the supermarket this afternoon, I did atkins about 5 years ago and hit my target weight easily, the weight just isn't shifting this time, despite doing a hell of a lot more exercise!

So strange, what kind of things did you eat last time and what weight were you starting at? What goal weight did you reach? Sorry for all the questions.

it could be that you are building muscle this time and so it weighs more plus it will give you an appetite.

Sorry you have hay fever, I'm rarely bugged by it but last time I had it I just ate honey Nd it went, can't do that this time though :(

I think I was about 68kg, my sticking sore point! I can't remember how much I lost but in about 4 months got down to a very slim size 10. So post baby (she is almost 5!) I'm at 69kg and have been stuck here for almost 2 weeks (after doing fat fast and gaining almost 2kg)

I'm hoping it is just muscle, I have toned up and lost some inches but TOM seems to be 2 weeks before and lasts 3 weeks, I'm thinking that's the bloating!

I think I need a box of food delivered each day and cupboards stripped bare! Wish I could afford that!

Hi there T and welcome, I know exactly how you feel. I was stuck for three weeks even after some pretty hard graft in the gym, for me it was def the muscle replacing fat thing as although the scales didn't budge 1lb there was a big difference in my shape. So stick with it now - maybe focus on clothing goals rather than WI (I know it's hard, and everybody needs the confirmation from the scales that they're doing the right thing, but our bodies and the way they work are very complex.

How are you finding Davina? I have body buff (still sealed :-D) may do that a couple days to mix it up.

Hi Busy,

Davina is fine, I find her very irritating but the exercises seem to be good! I did 30 day shred but she annoyed me more! Crack your DVD open!

Tea tonight was pork shoulder steaks x 2 and sautéed broccoli, forgot how yummy that was!

Morning Tee,

I know exactly what you mean about Jillian Micheals, I found her exercises good but she's too irritating.

Hope you have a good day x. Onwards and downwards!

Woohoo!!!!!!!! 68.8kg :) think I was 69.4 or something the other day so hopefully it's all downwards from here!

I'm hoping it was down to the broccoli and pork, really enjoyed having what seemed like a proper meal! I read on someone's diary about making sure you eat greens, well the salads aren't working so I'm going to buy some more broccoli and some spring greens :)

As much as Gillian's voice grates me I've decided to do level one shred on my Davina 'rest days' lets see how that goes!

Another sunny day so need to get exercise and shower out the way do I can take kids out :)

Have a lovely day!

Morning and well done on the loss :)

Honestly hun green leafy veggies are the key to weight loss on low carb - spinach, cabbage, broccoli, bok choy - all those things really help.

People talk about going "clean and green", which, at its most basic, is protein and one of those green veg, minus the cream, the cheese, the flaxseed and all the other extras that sneak in. it can get a bit dull but that sort of menu really kickstarts weight loss :)

I'm ok without the cheese and flax but 'need' the cream in my morning coffee! Only have one cup with 4 or 5 teaspoons of double cream. Will do a kinda clean and green this week see how it goes :)

Davina done :)

Didn't feel like eating till afternoon so hardly any carbs :-( and well over on the protein

L 2 drumsticks, 2 thighs
D 2 egg omelette with butter olive oil and 1/2 mozzarella with half a plate of stir fried spring greens

Snack, chunk of sliced ham. 2 coffee's with cream

5 pints water

Feeling really peed off this morning :-( not a good start to the day, hoping its gonna get better but guess I shouldn't hold my breath!

Hoping a cup of creamy coffee stops me reaching for chocolate.

Morning tee, what's getting you down petal?
I find the cream in my coffees with a smidgen of cheese to eat alongside it can kick my sugar cravings. I sometimes have a nap during the day and when I wake I could literally kill someone for something sweet....I have a cream coffee with a piece of cheese and within seconds I'm fine but if I didn't reach for the coffee I'd be scoffing something bad.

vintage cheddar is really sweet so helps a little.
