hello all,
starting up a diary as im a little obsessed with mini mins and really want to start a diary to help me and hopefully some others on our CC journey.

i started at a hefty 17st 8lb at the beginning of september.
today i weighed in at 16st 5lb... so have already lost 17lb, which in all my years of dieting is the most i have ever lost and this time it aint coming back on!!!

ive tried every diet under the sun, weight watchers, slimming world, even atkins and slim fast. but most recently i joined tesco diets, for people who arent familiar its basically a calorie counted diet plan they send to every week, all the meals have plenty of fruit and veg and making sure you use the calories healthily. my trial period of tesco diets ran out a few weeks ago so i have continued along the same line... you can try every diet but its simple, eat less and do more! i also joined a gym during september, exercise has never been a part of my diet programme before mixture of having two young children and funds preventing me from doing anything long term. now both my children are in full time school and ive gone back to work ive structured in the gym 3 times a week which has really helped because i know how much you have to do to just work off 100 cals and realised its just not worth it!

tesco diets generated 1800 cals for me, as has my fitness pal which i am using, but ive decided on 1500 cals per day 500 for each meal, if ive been to the gym or really need a treat after a hard day i allow myself 200 cals so i dont break, but normally i dont use them as ive become so used to not snacking and having 3 meals only. i never thought id break snacking in the evening but someone once told me you do something 20 times it becomes a habit, which it really has!

so thats me i look forward to hearing from some of you,
good luck to all.xxx

weds 21st nov
B- cheeky cooked breakfast as i was out with a friend 1 sausage, 2 bacon, 1 egg, mushrooms, few beans and half piece of dry toast 562cals
L- ryvita 140 lowlow soft cheese 62 cucumber 8
D- birds eye admiral pie 510 and garden peas 55
1338 total.
no gym today as i went yesterday.

was feeling very happy today as id weighed in and lost 5lb this week so friend asked me to breakfast, decided to be quite good and have a breakfast thought it would be better than a big fat bacon bap what she had!!
did my food shop today and found lowlow soft cheese, i buy the grated and think this soft cheese is new, when i opened it, the foil inside said delicious hot or cold...ooooh i do love warm cheese! its a good substitute for camembert! and it might have to be a weightwatcher petit pan than a big baguette to dip in it!!
happy wednesday everyone :)

hi everyone! and berryberry!
hope you are all ok and had a happy thursday!
heres my food for today:
B-2 weetabix with 1% milk
L-2xwmeal bread, light spread, wafer thin ham, walkers rsalted crisps (bit naughty but i had the calories and really fancied them not had crisps in an age!)
Snack after the gym- chicken breast pieces and salad with litle bit of caesar dressing
D- home made lentil bolognese with spagetti, then i did a choc fondue with my kids with plenty of fruit!

total cals for food= 1309cls
cals earned at the gym 265 cals (5min walk warm up, 10 min jog, 5 min walk, 5 min jog, 1 min sprint, 3 mins cool down walk) did some weights but dont know how to work out cals for these and dont eat my exercise cals anyway its to tone up my flabby excess skin!

so all in all a good day, was very impressed with the lentil bolognese with a nice big portion of spagetti it was only 329cals, much healthier alternative to mince.

tonight im going to get hot and steamy...with the iron!

sending good vibes to you all!

Oops forgot my glass of copella apple juice with breakfast. Cals are the same I just forgot to write it! It's delicious! So refreshing and a nice change from orange juice!

Hi LadyJo -what a successful day you had! Jealous of the crisps- they are my nemesis I loooooooove them.

Also great post-gym snack. I seriously fall down there because I go to the gym near work then get the tube home, by the time I get off the tube I am ravenous and end up scoffing the first thing I see in Sainsburys - not good!

Well I was looking into getting some protein shakes for after the gym cos I do get hungry after my gym sessions and chicken is getting a bit boring and it's not very convenient cos I need to fit my gym sessions between work and the school run so a shake would be ideal. Looking into some, I've got some slim fast powder left over from a slim fast stint not too long ago they've got 15g protein in per serving and 230cals the only thing that's crap is the sugar content but I've bought them now and don't want them to go to waste! Was worried because I associate protein shakes with proper body builders lol x

yeah I was totally the same associating protein supplements with body builders! But I have been having a protein bar in place of choc when I crave it and I think it is curbing the desire for it.

Have a good Friday!

Morning ladies!!!

Well I have a fuzzy head this morning. Few too many vodkas with the girls last night as it was one of their birthdays! Jumped on scales this morn and stayed the same so that's good!!
Well hubby's been away for a few weeks as he is armed forces and wasn't due back for still a few more weeks but I got a big knock on the door yesterday and it was him!!!! He's usually a speed bump on my weight loss journey as we like eating and drinking (didn't get this big any other way!) but I've only got my good food in and no plans that might ruin it so here's to another good week!
Yesterday's plan:
B-alpen bar (wasn't hungry) and copella apple juice
L-weight watchers tomato soup and a cheese and ham toastie made with low low cheese
D-two small slices of pizza, 3 bottles of sol lager and about 4-5 double vodkas with lime and light 7up
30 mins of swimming followed by jacuzzi and sauna!

Quite Glad the pub had run out of bottles of sol lager cos it's much more calories than vodka! But I do feel a bit tender today but no fry up or take away last night for me! Had a boiled egg with whole meal soldiers and 2 anadin!

Have a good weekend everyone! :):):):)

Food plan on 24th nov

B-boiled egg and whole meal soldiers
L-WW chicken soup, toastie made with low low cheese and ham
D-homemade lasagne
S-mango fingers and WW vanilla yogurt

Has took all my energy and will power not to pig out today with a hangover!

Time for the X factor now, have a good night all!

Hello everyone hope uve had a good and healthy weekend! Well today has been a typical Sunday, my hubs came home Friday night and surprised me so we've chilled all weekend after Friday night was very vodka fuelled. Made a roast dinner for us all today, not the healthiest of meals but it has filled me up for rest of the day! Woke up this morning with loads of extra energy so I've been recording exercise classes off fitness tv on sky and decided to do an aerobics one this morn before breakfast 60 mins worked off 500+ cals :) which has made me feel better about my big roast lol

B - slim fast shake then beans and mushrooms, wanted to have it with poached egg too but it didn't quite cook right so ended up with just beans and mushrooms!
L- weight watchers crackers, low low cheese spread and cucumber
D- chicken leg quarter, mash made with 1%milk, stuffing ball, Yorkshire Puds, carrots parsnips and a huge pile of cabbage and leeks with chicken gravy, a whopping 700 cals but I still have 280 left from my 1500 allowance that's not even touching my exercise cals which I never touch anyway. But I'm so stuffed I might just have a hot choc before bed later.

Looking forward to X factor hoping Christopher goes!

Hello all on this miserable Monday weather is crap and I jumped on the scales today (my WI day is weds) and its showing a gain!!! I'm mortified!! I didhave a drink on Friday night but i counted it all and didn't have a takeaway or pig out next day!!! And I did exercise on Sunday which I never do! :( hoping this will change by weds! I haven't put on this whole time so ill be so sad if it stays up :(

B- oat so simple porridge pot original flavour and I chucked in some blueberries and had a cup of copella apple juice.
L- ham sandwich used cheese spread instead of butter and filled with salad. Had a packet of crisps with it and a WW yogurt.
S - after the gym I had a slim fast shake
D- minced beef and onion slice with aunt Bessie carrot and swede mash and broccoli and gravy. Total food 1561 (60 cals over but I do allow myslef 200 extra on gym days if I need it) not going to have anything else tonight keep the scales down!

Gym sesh today consisted of 15 min jog with a 5 min walk either side for warm up and cool down. First time on the rowing machine really enjoyed it! Managed 10 mins. Then 15 mins on the bike don't really like the bike cos I get disheartened by how many cals it says I'm burning and im working hard on it and I only burn about 100 cals but it keeps my heart rate up. Also did some weights and the machine u have to squeeze your thighs together as mine are huge! Booked in with the personal trainer to make a plan on weds so looking forward to that as I've just been doing my own thing. All cardio together it was 566 cals burned. Not a bad hours work!

Hope everyone's Monday wasn't too bad and your not affected by the horrible weather and floods x

I've been exercising the same amount since I started 2 months ago so unsure if that would be the case. I'm not really aching that I can notice. I've been chatting to my friend about it and I'm due on my totm next week so don't know if its to do with that? It didn't affect me last time :( just got my fingers crossed xxx and thanks for the subscribe xxx

Happy Tuesday everyone!

I'm happy as its WI tomm and I'm really hoping that gain I've seen during the week will not show up tomm morning. I've been really good and exercised so dont see any reason why I should gain.

Today's plan
B- 2x toast with light spread and copella apple juice
L- Asda good for you ready meal chicken in black bean sauce with rice, fancied something warm on this cold day
D- pasta bake made with chicken breast Sweetcorn and peas.
Exercise- quick half hour wanted to go swimming but pool unavailable so did 15 mins cross trainer, 10 mins rowing and 5 mins on the bike.

Will update in the morning with my weigh in. And it will be half way thru the week already! Can't wait for this weekend! X

Hi! Lady Jo just teas your thread and you're doing brilliantly! Would love to follow your journey as I have started re-feed after vlcd and I'm counting calories using my fitness pal using two vlcd products and food. Hoping to lose Vlcd products by Christmas and move to real food only - scary! I've lost and gained several times on vlcd but this will be the last ever time I use vlcd as my plan is to maintain once at goal. Finding my fitness pal great for now but think may need help with planning more. I may have a look at tesco diets I may be the way to go for me.

Once again well done!

Thanks girls but the luck didnt work, So annoyed put on half a pound! Don't know where that creeped on!!! :( annoying cos I've lost every week and if I had been bad I would have been ok with half a pound but I have been good!
Well today starts a new week, could of easily smashed in a McDonald's breakfast this morning to make me feel better but hey moment on the lips... So a nice bowl of bran flakes and woke up early to get a beef casserole in the slow cooker.
Wondering if it could be to do with starting on weights at the gym I normally just do cardio but been doing some toning and weights cos my thighs and arms are flabby! Or maybe it's just an excuse... :(
Good luck to any other Wednesday weighers! X
