Well thats my hope anyway! Im 21 and mum to two boys, 20 months and 9 weeks. Im on a mission to get to 9st or maybe 10st depends how I feel when I get to 10st. Im 5"5 and size 12 at the moment. Im hoping for inches loss most of all seeing as Ihave a pair of size 10 jeans that go halfway up my thighs which I want to fit into. Im doing kettlebell workouts 3 days a week for 20 mins and going to try to do Shred it with weights too. Il alternate kbell and dumbells on that workout.
Il basically use this diary to record my exercise and my food and calorie intake and hopefully have some support from fellow members here.
I previously got from 12st12lbs to 10st8lbs and then got pregnant with no2, and when I got home that day I was 12st12lbs. So in about 6-7 weeks of calorie counting Iv lost 10lbs and 2 inches off hips and waist.
Measurements are waist - 33inches (want to be 27) Hips 38inches (want to be around 34) My body fat (from online calculators that measure different body parts and weight) is around 34% which is terrible. Im hoping to get it in the mid 20s and at least have a healthy bmi.
Also I want to look good for my partner of 4 years, Gary. He says I look fine now and I know size 12 is fine but my tummy is so jiggly still after having the youngest and my thighs shake when I do jogging on the spot :mad:
I cant do much cardio as I have bad knee joints (last time I put them out I couldnt bend or kneel down for 5 weeks, am off to dr tomorow about it) They hurt now because I did 15 mins of 30 day shred last night :eek:
So far today I have eaten ;
2 pitta bread with minted lamb steaks - 686cals
tonight will be curried cous cous, veg and sausages - 410 calories
will have some porridge in a bit so add another 240,
so I should be in at 1330 cals today, so might add another big bowl of porridge to bring it up more
 
Im at 1387 now and thats me done, Iv cleaned the downstairs, mopped kitchen and bathroom and everyone is quiet and sleeping. Gary (my partner) is working 6pm til 630am so wont be back til 7am. The nights he works is when I eat crap because I hate being here just me and the boys and I get lonely then bore then I eat doh!
but iv done well today. Might buy some salad tomorow to make some meals for the next few days, hopefully be around 1600 cals tomorow. Need to do a kettlebell workout . Also need a hot bath tonight but cant be bothered to move!
 
Plan for week ; Mon Shred it with weights, Tues Shred it with weights,Weds Day off, Thurs Shred with weights, Fri Shred with weights then weekend off. Cant wait to do it this week. Il use kettle bell for some moves and dumbells for ab work because last time I used my kb I woke up with burning abs and felt so sick and achey in the stomach because of it. SO instead of youtube workouts with kb il do shred with my bell and dumbells. 4 days is enough isnt it?
 
After I eat some porridge in a mo, Id have had 1366 calories. Just done shred it with weights so workout 1/4 done!
Should eat more as tdee with 1-3 days workouts is 1700cals (reduction included in that) so im under today. Dont feel like a proper meal after my workout, one day under wont hurt, il make sure I eat to 1600 tomorow, hows everyone else going?
 
just got back from a 2 hr walk with the pushchair, now about to settle the youngest down with me whilst I workout. Cant be bothered really but need to get my 4 days in. Im now eating tdee of 2100 minus 500 to make 1600cals and going to eat back exercise calories or at least half of them. Im also not weighing or measuring til end of jan so wish me luck!
 
k im back! Done 3 workouts this week, will do one later..maybe. Iv been eating about 1400-1500 cals day sometimes abit less, as my appetite has gone! Today all iv had is a bowl of porridge, 1 twix finger and 6 choc eclair sweets this morning. Got a bowl of pasta tonight when OH gets home, and will try to fit in another bowl of porridge as I dont feel like anything bigger. But might scrap the porridge and workout burn 100cals or so and have something bigger
 
On to Tesco ultraslim now. A slimfast style diet. Iv had 1400cal today and just having a bowl of porridge for supper then off to bed. Done 15 mins cardio circuit and burn 115 cals. Cant motivate myself to use my kettlebell so im going to shred it with weights tomorow then build up to my 7.5kg bell.
 
Im at 1530cals today. Went really well. Had 3 shakes today and 1 meal plus a bowl of porridge with that. Im getting a rowing machine delivered tomorow that me and OH cant wait for! Im aiming for 20-30 mins a day on that 3 days a week and try to get a bodyweight strength workout in too. Cant wait for tomorow for that plus dy 3 on Ultraslim
 
well I lost 4lbs on my first week of US! Its half way through week 2 so hoping for a good loss at least 1lb. Im averaging about 1200-1300 cals a day. Iv also completed day 9 of level 1 30 day shred. Might do day 10 tonight as earlier I had to keep stopping to see to the kids!
About to have a weightwatchers korma sauce with chicken and cous cous for lunch. Had 2 shakes today and have 600 calories left for tonight.

I have a 7 year old daughter so I kno what u mean about the exercising. They want nothing to do with you all day n the moment you put the DVD in its mum will you do this mum will you do that muuuuuuum!!!! Haha.

Sounds like you've got in to the swing of things :) fingers crossed I will follow suit x

Im at 1429 calories today. Im trying to stick to 1550cals which is around BMR and just under TDEE minus 500 cals. Last few days iv eaten 1200cals maybe a little less but need to stick to 1500cals. The problem is when I wou out lots I dont get that hungry which my partner thinks is weird lol
 
Is that from that dans road map thing? I was looking at that today n will have to sit down and work it out coz it makes sense what he says.

Haha I think your fella might b right that is wierd lol sorry :) when I work out I'm ravenous with in half an hour.

Maybe just have a protein shake just after your work out u can get low calorie ones. But that's when you get your best protein absorption. This will help with lean muscle gain and the more lean muscle u got the more fat you burn. So least your giving ur body summat n not having to force yourself to eat when u don't feel like it x
 
well iv had 1688cals today. So a little over but still ok. Yeah Iv used the road map thing and other calculators and they average out as about 1550-1600 cals for tdee minus 500. Im saying im lightly active and then adding exercise calories back and eating them, so I get closer to my goal allowance. All the running around I do after the kids and other half must make me lightly active lol
My main aim is to get to a size 10 and same measurements as when I met OH. So about 6-7inchs all together to lose! 5 off waist and 1-2 off hips. I have a pair of size 10 jeans here that need to fit! Its my motivation to keep at the 30 day shred dvd! Its day 10 of level 1 tomorow then saturday start level 2

are you counting exercise as well and eating those calories burned back? Im doing 30 day shred daily and trying to do a 10-15 min workout onto of that too. Iv got it set at lightly active 1-3 days a week but think I should put it higher seeing as Im working out daily now.What does everyone think?
 
I'm not eating exercise calories bk just the deficit so 1750 is enough for me will re evaluate @ every 7lbs lost :) I want to get to 10st 10lbs so @ that weight and with light activity my tdee will be 2036 with no deductions, at the mo my tdee is 2186 so deducted 20% took me to 1750 but not eating exercise bk, just stick at that, if your eating 1200cals I'd defo eat Bk exercise cals, I'd also stick to light active xx

my tdee at goal weight for lightly active is about 1980cals, so doable. Im going to try to stick at 1670cals a day. I need to keep motivated for exercise too
 
Tell me about it!! I did my 1st spin class yesterday and my butt is hurting in places I didn't know it could hurt Hahahaha!!

Yeah you'll do great!! And that's still a lot of cals ain't it for a day xx

I dread doing the 30 day shred but then when its done I feel so much better for it. Just need to push myself harder to make sure I stick to my goals. I did get to 10st 8lbs before having my 3 month old so I almost did it once, so I know I can do it again
