Back once again with probably a forth diary in 18 months :D. Was gonna try and keep it short but here is a timeline of my weight gain and losses over the past 4/5 years

Sep 2009- Went to Uni, at a very happy weight of 11 stone, lost half a stone in first few months to get into the 10 stones not that I was trying.

Jan 2010 to July 2012- The Uni lifestyle finally caught up with me big style. During moving out of my uni house to back home for the summer I had to struggle down two flights of stairs with all my belongings. Sweating like a pig this was when I really started to take notice. Then without months of not weighing myself I stepped on the scales at home and weighed 14st 12lb. Was shocked and that was the day I said enough was enough no way am I seeing 15st on there.

Jul '12-Dec '12- Had some up and down sort of months but got to Christmas at a very happy 13st 1lb

Jan '13-Mar '13- Christmas got me back up to 13st 6lb but had a brilliant few months and got down to my lowest in years at 12st 1lb

Jul 13-Now- You will probably guess the pattern now, totally went off the diet and my final year uni exams got the blame (nothing to do with greed ;). Finally weighed myself in July and was all the way back to 13st 11lbs. Since then I have done a few weeks diet here and there and settled between 12.12 and 13.8.

Anyways been back on the diet for 3 weeks, lot more exercise this time around. My starting weight this time around was 13st 6lbs, weigh-in date this coming Thursday should be in the very low 13st by then. Very positive about this run at healthy living, basically at the same stage I was last year but with a lot more exercise I will be very disappointed if I don't see the 11 stones by the end of March.

Overall target the mid 10 stones by the start of June, eventually reaching my target after two years on this brilliant site.

Hopefully haven't bored anyone with all those yo-yo weights :D. Let the new minimins journey commence

4lbs gone this week, 12st 13lbs now :)

That's half a stone gone since I restarted on the 6th of January. Making a healthy(ish) fish pie tonight, hopefully wont be a culinary disaster lol

Here to follow!! How have you been? Hope All is ok? I'm back with ANOTHER new diary lol xx

Welcome back Nessa :)

One day we will both be popping on here to create a maintaining diary :p

Will find your diary sometime tomorrow, need to start using this site more to keep on track

Well I had a week off work last week and the diet and exercise went out the window lol

Got back on it for a few days this week but the scales only flirted between 13 1lb and 13st, so went with the higher number (that way next weeks target is more achievable ;) haha)

Sort of happy I had a terrible week and got back on it straight away, those terrible weeks often turn into terrible months lol

Some things i've cooked the past few weeks

My first attempt at a fish pie. Tried to make it as healthy as possible, used philadelphia lightest and a tiny bit of milk for the sauce. For the top I used sweet potato. Bought a handy fish pie mix from tesco too so got plenty of different type of fish in there. Wasn't perfect though, sauce could have been thicker, a lot more parsley and not enough potato, but I was reasonably happy for my first attempt.

Nice and simple midweek tea. Mediterranean couscous (loving that stuff and fairly cheap), side salad with rainbow trout stuffed with garlic and then baked.

My favourite, beef stew. Was so happy with this one, even my Dad who thinks he is thee best cook ever said it was better then his lol. Made one after this photo too with beef skirt, a very cheap cut but ideal for stews. Its from a muscular part of the cow so can be quite tough cooked quickly, but slow cooking breaks it down and its so more flavourful then more expensive cuts.

My mouth is watering now :p

Here's hoping!!

Glad to see you back and your food looks amazing, you've made me want to make a stew!! X

That terrible week of work turned into another terrible week afterwards, oops. But been fully focused for this whole week and lost 3lbs, taking me down to 13 stone exactly. Looking to the 12s again next week. If I get to 12st 12lbs again and end up going haywire the next week I will cry, surely I can't let that happen 3 times lol

Didn't even reach 12st 12lbs this time boo #useless lol.

Focused again and down to 13st after a week back on it. On the bright side that is 6lbs lost this year, not ideal but only really been trying for about 3 weeks of the year so not too bad :)

Meeting up with some old uni friends at the end of May. Some of which I ain't seen since I was nearly 15st, sooooo determined to get into the 11 stones for then. My original target was to get to 12 stone exactly but this first week of calorie counting and low carbs has went way better then I could have expecting.

IN THE ZONE

Had night out last night. Normally it goes something like a fatty and carb heavy meal before hand, lots of alcohol with normal coke and a kebab to end it. With a chinese on the sunday night....can see how I am overweight yeah? :p

Anyways ate well all day yesterday, stuck to vodka and diet coke. No takeaway afterwards and no takeaway tonight, apart from the hangover all gooing well wooo.

Now having turkey in a onion and mushroom gravy and steamed vegetables.

Good times
