no reversing this time

I thought I would do a diary to try and help with losing this weight again.

I lost a lot of weight with Cambridge but have put it all but 2lb back over the last two years...and lost my gallbladder! Its quite depressing seeking all your hard work unravelling in front of you. But this journey has made me realise that there aren't any quick fixes (well for me anyway) and I need something that I can carry on for the rest of my life.

This is why I've decided to follow calorie Counting. I've now done a week and lost 6lb. But I know that this is just first week loss. I am realistic that it will be a longer journey but hopefully a better one in the long term for me.

My first week experience is positive. I am enjoying using MFP so much! For the first time doing a diet I don't feel hungry or deprived. I so hope that this is the way to go for me.

My goals

Decided to have a mix of weight and personal goals. Key ones are:

Get back to 16 stone something (I'm 5 11 tall)
Get back into my size 16 jeans that I was wearing only a month ago!
Get back to under 16 stone
Get into 14 dress I have that I wore last time when I was 15 stone 7
Re-do couch to 5k
Get back to 14 stone something
Get back to my size 14 jeans
Get back to under 14 stone
Get back to 13 stone 7 and fit into some lovely Joules stuff I have
Get to healthy BMI which for me is around 13 stone
Get to a point where I am lighter than my husband!
Goal is around 12 stone

So here we go. Straight path ahead, may hit some bumps but no reversing allowed this time!

Keep up the good work. 6lb is a great for first week. I am alsp calorie counting and averaging a lb a week but it doesn't feel like I'm on a diet as its a life style change. Fed up of doing crash diets losing loads of weight and then putting it all back on plus more.

I'm an ex-Cambridge girl! Put it all back on and then some to boot :(. Your mini-goals are all very sensible and achievable - just stick with it, you CAN do this!

Congratulations with such a good loss! Great job! Thats very right that you made this list of goals - more motivation) You seem to have right attitude to dieting and it will help you to keep going and do not lose your motivation in future! wish you good luck!!
