Holiday Breaks

Hi,

I'm on day 9 of SS, i had a weigh in after 5 days and lost 9lbs. I have stuck to the plan totally, it has been hard at times but i have battled through!

I'm on holiday from 20/08 for 2 weeks, and i'm looking for advice please!!!!
I'm not taking my shakes with me as i do want to eat and have a couple of drinks,
Has anyone been on hols for the same amount of time? How much did you gain and why?
Does anyone have any tips to keep a massive weight gain at bay?

Any advice will be welcome!

I'm struggling now to get back on plan and I've not even been on holiday yet but mine is in 10 days and my consultant told me to stay away from bread, pasta and cocktails. All refined carbs. I plan to stick with healthy nutrious food, despite the carbs which I think is still better than taking 2weeks off and eating everything in sight.

I plan to eat chicken salads, fish, fruit, veggies, and drink spirits with slim line or diet sodas. instead of ice-creams, ice lollies are better, and try and incorporate some exercise everyday.

I went to Mexico last year and gained 9lbs after maintaining on weight watchers for 6 months but I know 100% it's because I went into holiday mentality as soon as I got to the airport, which isn't good. Just because we're out of the country doesn't mean we have to eat and drink everything in sight, this is why we're over weight. I never lost the 9lbs I gained until I started SS a few months after but this time around I plan to treat my body with kindness and not pig out. It can still be good just making better choices..
