Step 1 Sole Source + Seeking group wisdom on merits of SS vs SS+

Okay, I am sure it has been discussed here a kazillion times before, but I need advice on the merits of going SS or SS+.

Nearing the end of Week 1 of CWP on SS, I am now looking ahead.

Although I understand the losses of the first week are the bestest ever and that I will never again have such a huge loss...I know I have lost a substantial amount already. This reminds me of how, when I get meself organised and keep my cake hole shut to rubbish food I can be quite an efficient flab losing machine.

So what are the pros and cons of going for either, or a mix of both? Can the addition of the + make the early days of CWP that much more sustainable?

Would really appreciate your collective wisdom on this one.

Ouch - difficult one - you need to compare me and bookworm for this answer - I will say SS all the way - I cannot deviate from it I cannot put a mouthful of food in my mouth or I go mad, binge and lose the plot completely (its taken me 2 years and a regain of all but 2lbs of what i lost to get going again after stopping sole source - admittedly I didn't go up the plans - had to stop suddenly for an op and take a 3 month break - and there the rot started). On the other hand Bookworm is doing brilliantly on step 2 so it really boils down to what works for you.

I feel so good on it that i don't miss food and can't even remember to have my shakes - i just don't feel hungry (physically) at all so easily forget to stop and have one and before I know it the day has gone. If I was eating all i would be thinking about was what I would be having in that little meal!

My instinct says, if you have cracked week 1, feel OK and managed it stick with it, if on the other hand you are feeling awful and struggling give it another week and then consider SS+. Some people really enjoy their meal every day...but not for me!!
