Does anyone use this?

Has anyone used this with tetras?

I'm thinking about buying some Friday! Just wondered what your experiences are? Xx

Anyone?

I'm on my third attempt now - only failure so far! X

I did cambridge before and froze tetra's but have now been told this removes all vitamins / minerals so be careful doing this.

I haven't tried mix-mousse yet, but am hoping to soon. :)

Depends how many packs you are having tho, since if you are having 3 you can get away with doing that since all your RDA vitamins etc are in 3.

On the mousse though, I used to have it most days, it added variety, some flavours work better than other - strawberry is nice. Always mix the mix a mousse with the shake first before adding water - otherwise you get a lumpy mess! And an electric whisk makes it the best way

I picked up a sample of this to try - so fingers x'd and I'll use your tips, am going to try it with butterscotch :) Hope I like it!

I have it with a chocolate tetra - it's lovely...

I have a tub I don't use. At first I thought hmm ok this is ok. Instead of setting it in the fridge I set it in the freezer just for a few minuets. But I can't stomach it these days .. eugh lol its just to blemongy.

Here's how mine turns out - I use 1 tetra and 1 level scoop of mix a moose... Blend then set in the fridge for 10mins.
Does feel like your having a "treat"

It doesn't set the tetras well, some like it but most don't, I always gave a sample to someone if they only had tetras so they could try it first!

There are 3 simple tricks with the mousse 1) make sure your water/milk is really cold 2) mix mousse powder in the packet of shake and mix well 3) blend the wotsits out of it with a stick blender (the ones for making soup) for AT LEAST one minute then put in fridge for 20 min.

Comes out lovely and smooth! If it's lumpy or the texture in inconsistent you need to blend longer next time!

20? Sorry, should have been 10! (On my phone!)

Ah brilliant it's probably bc I didn't blend for long enough then! Thanks for the tip! X

Made mousse tonight for the first time, lovely, very filling, the trouble is I have had it too near my evening meal and its far too filling!

I quite enjoy it with the strawberry and banana shakes, and I think I'll try it with a chocolate shake or a butterscotch one at some point. It's a bit like Angel Delight.

However, I did not like it with a chocolate tetra. The only thing on Cambridge so far that I've genuinely not been able to finish.
