Hi guys!

I am looking to start CD in a month or so. I currently eat sensibly and exercise 4-5 days a week (intense exercise). Can I carry on like this on S&S and continue to have good losses? I am worried about not exercising and worried if I exercise my losses wont be as good?

Has anyone done this and been successful?

Thank you in advance xx

Hi,

I exercised a lot before starting this but have completely stopped whilst on it. My consultant said I couldn't on SS and I also don't think I'd have the energy to run or spin like I use to. I have 2-3 stone to lose so doing this to Lose it then ill start running again once I move up the steps. The way I see it is 6-8 weeks not exercising is prob better than carrying the extra weight that I was all those years.

Good luck

Thank you Liz! Good luck on your plan! Im sure you will do amazingly!

Anyone else experienced(or not) experienced this?

Hi there! You shouldn't experience losses that are less than anyone else because you exercise! You just need to be careful exercising when on Cambridge, because you will generally get tired more quickly and won't be able to sustain the levels or performance that you did previously. If you're doing intense exercise 4-5 days a week, maybe lower it to 2 days at the start and see how you get on. Of course if it's purely weight loss that you're going for then you want to make sure you don't build up muscle etc... so really depends what exercise you're doing. But from my experience, going to the gym whilst on CD is fine. x

I stopped exercising for the first week and then once I felt strong, I started back at the gym. I just try to listen to my body and not push myself too hard, if I feel light headed then I drop down a level.

Played squash last week and to be honest that was a bit too much for me. So I have put that on hold for a while. I am loosing at least 5-6 lb each week and toning which is great!

Get used to the lack of calories first, give yourself a few weeks and then introduce what you feel you can do safely. I swam.....a lot and felt good. Also bought a x trainer and power plate and really helped. I felt I needed to do some exercise or it felt ' too easy' lol
