Step 1 Sole Source + Quick question about foods on SS+

Had a good long think about doing ss+ instead of ss. The lack of food of any kind will be my downfall.

What foods (and quantities) are allowed on ss+? Going to go shopping this morning and need to know what to grab :)

Seeing my consultant Saturday for my weigh in and restock, but I know she's mega busy tomorrow with family stuff so kinda don't want to bother her and I am impatient.

found it on the cd forums :)

never thought id be so happy to have salad and some chicken :D

Good lean protein and green veg/salad and you can't go wrong. Amazing chewing and crunching on actual food. Fresh crunchy lettuce is a joy! Never thought I'd say that!

I found the key to sticking with it was curry and chilli powder, livened up fish and chicken no end.

Used pickled cabbage to add some flavour to my lettuce too.

I'm lucky I'm one of those weird people who LOVE cottage cheese :D last night I took half chicken and half cottage cheese allowance and had with lettuce n cucumber :D I'm also lucky I like quite bland foods and rarely add salt and extra flavourings to cooking.

Also realised after hunting about online for the SS+ food list for half n hour for an official one....its in the CD book *rolls eyes @ self*.

Okay so ideas with chilli and curry powder then? what to do with it?

Can the golden veg flavouring be used in cooking? or is it pointless? Baby stock cubes or even real ones? Would love to make a leek and chicken soup.

I just poured the powder onto the fish or chicken and stuck them in the oven.

TY, going to grab some next time I'm shopping :D

I took the lazy option and bought pre cooked chicken (without added sugar - consultant checked it earlier and what I bought was fine) but I'll buy some fresh for cooking.

Also got an answer re the stock cubes, the reduced salt ones are okay to use so I can make some chicken and leek soup - YAY!
