I have been on the CD for 6 weeks and I have lost 1st 6lbs so far. I have done the CD many times before and lost pretty quickly but couldn't keep it off because I wasn't eating the right foods. I decided to start on step 3 this time, but I wasn't optimistic... but I must say I am happy with the weight I am losing and more importantly I can eat :p. I am learning how to eat right. I definitely recommend it for people who struggle to stay on SS. Is anyone else on step 3?

week one - 4lbs
week two - 2lbs
week three - 5lbs
week four - 3lbs
week five - no weighin
week six - 6lbs

Hi

Thats a good thing. I've had an off day here or there, but I must say I'm aware I am going off course and rein it in. Lol I guess part of a weight loss programme is learning about our eating habits and making better choices. Keep up the good work, whether great or small.. it all counts.

I'm glad I'm not the only one.. lol enjoyed my holiday a little too much.. I don't feel guilty though. I also started on SS+ to drop the few extra pounds. Makes it so much easier with people to share experiences with. x

def does, glad your not feeling guilty it doesn t get you anywhere. more important to get on with the task ahead.
how far on with the ss+ are you? im on day 4 think most of the side effects have passed now just feeling more like myself.

I was on ss+ for nearly 4 days before I ended up eating again.. it was my cousins birthday. Straight back on it now, 2nd day and feeling so hungry even tho I'm on ss+. Got my weight-in on Tues and hope to lose a few lbs at least. Are you still on ss+ how's it going?

Hi,

Thats great losses you have there, well done!! Im currently on ss+ but struggling massively so considering trying a different step. I have a really physical job and im finding ss+ is just too little energy and its making me feel really poorly, im only a few days in!! Your losses are very encouraging and i think its persuaded me to try this step :)

Keep up the good work, I look forward to seeing your progress

Hi everyone. I started SS on 4th November and after a week of feeling very weak and dizzy went onto SS+ for next 10 weeks. Lost 30lbs in total before moving onto Step 3 3 weeks ago. First week sts - expected with carbs introduced. Week 2 on step 3 lost 3lbs - very happy and also surprised as told to expect losses of 1-2lbs on this step and then week 3 gained 2.8lbs back! My body is obviously adjusting to the change in diet but it proves to me that you have to go up the steps to regulate our diets otherwise all our hard work will have been wasted. My next weigh in is today so fingers crossed I am starting to lose the lbs again. Only 9lb left to target - yay me!

Got fantastic results at my weigh it, 4lb loss - wow, even my CDC was surprised and she wonders if I am actually still in Ketosis. To be honest the weekly ups and downs on this step is really confusing but atleast it's going in the right direction. 5lbs till target weight and my consultant says I should be completely off the diet in 2 weeks when she returns from holidays - wow, so glad I stuck to it and got there. This is the first diet that I have ever stuck to and the results have been amazing.

Same here!!!! I'm on step 2.5 (so mostly step 2 but throwing in a bit of step 3 once or twice a week) and getting on ok but slowly. Think the inches are pretty stready though so that's the main thing!

Deon-1, I am encouraged by your step 3 weight losses; I have just stepped up to step 2 from SS/SS+. Had done 6 weeks with no convential food, but missing food and worried I was going to go off the rails and have a massive binge - so chatted with my counsellor and came to the decision to introduce convential food, its just protein and veggies but its nice to have at the end of my working day especially. I hope my weightlosses are somewhere in comparison to yours.
Keep going :)

I started the whole diet on step 3 as I only wanted to loose 2 stone and I wanted to do it slowly. I have now lost nearly 2 stone and I eat a healthy meal every night! I really recommend it.

Thats a good thing.

Ill be moving up to step 3 once I've lost another 6lb or so, I think I will anyway but guess I'll see how step 2 goes. So much meat haha x
