Step 1 Sole Source Anyone just started SS?

Hi Kat, I started 3 weeks b4 Xmas, I lost 10 wk 1, 6 week 2 and 2 week 3. I didn't get weighed this week due to Xmas and I've kind of gone off rails. I had planned Xmas day off and it kind of spiracles from there. However I started again on Saturday and get weighed this Saturday. I'm toying with idea of asking the consultant not to tell me and just go whole of January and see what happens as I know if I've put on this week I will be really demotivated. I plan to eat New Year's Day dinner with the family u see.
I would like to loose 2 stone.
I would be happy to keep in touch and keep each other going ?

Would love to keep in touch to try and help each other a long. I've got 6 stone to loose so I'll probably be on it a lot longer (well that's the plan anyway).

My first weigh in is on Saturday so I have no idea how I'm doing. But I have stuck to it for 3 days. Early days though!

Going to family New Years so that'll be a challenge!

Hi Kat, good luck with you're weigh in. I've put 2lb on over Xmas and new year but that's it now for me I'm sick of it! I'm gonna be 100% till target. I dnt get weighed now till the 10 th.
How did u get on with eating over new year xx

New year was hard but I stuck at it. Got weighed this morning and have lost 10lbs so I'm really happy with that.

A 2lb gain over xmas is really good. I usually gain about 4lbs. That's why I decided to start CWP after xmas cos I knew I wouldn't stick to it!

Hi Kat, that is fantastic well done!!! The diet really does give great results when it's followed to the tee! I've for till Saturday to so some damage limitation so fingers crossed xx

Great loss well done that's fab. I had a gain of 2lb but I'm working on shifting that ASAP and back to 100%.

Well done 10lb week one is great!

I'm looking to lose about 6stone too. Day one for me.....just wishing away the days to the end of the week. You've done the hardest part - fingers crossed I can too!
 
It's really not that bad after you get through the first few days. It becomes a routine. Don't get me wrong there are still days when I crave chocolate or anything sweet but I just keep imagining the end goal.

I just started Monday 5/1/15...well,t hat was my first weight in and I started the shakes on the Tuesday!

Hey guys
I decided to try the Cambridge diet again today, I have lost count with the amount of attempts I have made with trying to lose weight. I lost 5 stones back in 2009 and have since gained back 3 stones. It has been a constant struggle. I started Cambridge last year in October, failed miserably and gained 1.5 stones in the process. First day is the hardest and week 2 is the hardest

Like you, I've 6 stone to lose, I expect to lose it by 1st June. BIG plan! But do-able according to my consultant! ;)
 
Hi my names Meela, I started CD last week Tuesday, it has been a week. My first weigh in was Monday and I had lost only 2kg without any cheating. I am a PCOS sufferer and I take metformin, my period started on Saturday but it is not constant it stops for a day and comes back. I am disappointed with my weight loss results. Anyone that can advice me. It's my first time doing CD and it's my first time on minimins. Thanks :)

I'm hoping to join you all. I started ss+ today. Had porridge, shake, a boiled egg & the spag boug. I was starving at about 4 this afternoon but the spag boug seems to have filled me up for now.
This is my first time doing the CD so hoping to lose 4 stone in as short amount of time as possible.
 
Hi all,

How are you all finding CD. It's my first time doing it too. This is my third week and so far I've lost 15lbs. I get weighed this Sunday. Been picking a bit this week though! Nothing major just a bit of the kid's chocolate here and there! But I guess it all counts.

I'm thinking I might do the SS+ in a few weeks because I'm starting to miss chewing and a cup of tea!

I'm on SS+ but some days I forget to take my last shake (I'm not hungry! ) so it's more SS (!) I'm afraid to taste or cheat as it will lead to bigger cheats! You are doing very well considering you had the odd choc nibble! Good luck with WI tomorrow!

I hope everyone is doing ok?
I am on my 5th day of CD ss+ have kept to it 100% so far but found the weekend quite difficult and have had to really will myself not to pick and have also really missed my wine! (I have taken to drinking sparkling water in a wine glass!)
I'm not sure I could do just the ss as I really enjoy my 200kal evening meal which I look forward to all day.
I have enjoyed the chocolate & the choc mint shakes and the choc orange bar, was not too keen on the plain porridge, lemon bar or the mushroom soup but will keep trying all of the other flavours.
I'm not sure if I have hit the ketosis stage as I do still feel hungry during the day, I might invest in some sticks to check.

Your taste may change slowly but surely and you may get to like packs you can't enjoy right now. All the best on this exciting journey x
