Tomorrow I start my last ever diet, Cambridge is going to save my life and get me to my goal weight. My positivity is overflowing and I know I can and will achieve it. I know the first week is going to be... interesting but will be my first step on my journey to lose over 11 stone.

I am 28 with a 10 month old Daughter E and Husband A. Thats what I will call him on here, I dont have a husband B lol. I decided on Cambridge because it gives fast results and that is what I really need right now, I want to get the bulk of this 11 stone off fast so I have a big reason to carry on with it. I hear week 1 is hell, but "if you are in hell, keep going", as a wise man once said. Im ready for the hunger, headaches, pain, anything else this diet can throw at me I will get through and come out of the other end! I feel like a caterpillar going into a cocoon, away from food, away from social gatherings, away from the saboteurs and ready to face the darkness, then once Im ready, to come out a brand new woman, a beautiful butterfly.

Ive bought myself a smoothie2go blender, as recommended by other cambridgers, and been to see my consultant, Caroline, today. I have my shakes/soups all ready for this week so I am ready to go. BRING IT ON!!!!

Good luck shrinkingalice, you can do this. I am on day 4, day 5 tomorrow, of the cambridge diet and so far it has been hard but doable. Loads of support on here, which i like to read at night when i am usually at my most hungriest ha. X

thanks medsec!

Following Lawrence "Dual Dynamics" Brown's example and going for a big goal for my first 12 weeks of 4 stone gone in 12 weeks. If you havent heard of him then google Dual Dynamics on youtube or look for the Platinum Players Cambridge group on facebook. Hes so positive and a really inspirational consultant.

Day 1, 4.30pm. Its going well so far but I had a feeling day 1 would be the easiest one this week as I am so motivated. Ive had the vanilla shake, that was really nice and I had the vegetable soup, wasnt sure about that one but I have another one so I will try it a bit warmer next time, and a bit more water I think.
Ive drank 1.5 litres of water so far too, im aiming for at least 2.5 litres a day :) Feeling good!

Right im going to be brave and post a before pic on here! Never done this before but the more inspiration I can get, the better! Scary to post it on the internet but it needs to be done, i need to confront just how big i am!

It's going well thanks, got a headache creeping on but feel ok at the moment. I've got at least one of each flavour to try, even ones I wouldn't normally like just to find out properly which I like or loathe! All been good so far apart from the chicken/mushroom soup which wasn't great but still drinkable x

variety is probably a good thing, I'm so fussy I've only ordered choc, vanilla and a few caramel. Might get brave and try a few fruity ones but I doubt it. :)

Day 2... Done! Been 100%, Drank 2.5L water, had my 4 packs.

I've not had much hunger as yet, hoping for easy day 3/4 but have heard its awful! My head is still in it 150%, I'm so focused that even the WORST day 3/4 will not change my positive attitude.

I did shout at a woman parked in parent and child parking to use the cash machine when there were no other spaces but I'm pretty sure I would have on a normal day, never mind a cambridge day. That really bothers me! God help anyone who pisses me off on a bad cambridge day!! I think my hubby is currently battening down the hatches ready for the infamous days 3 and 4 haha!

Goodnight day 2, see you tomorrow day 3! X

Made myself a pretty list of my goals to tick off as I go. Theres alot but then I have ALOT to lose!

Day 3 isnt as bad as I have been expecting, im just really tired. Im not thinking the worst is over though as it could get worse yet, whatever this throws at me though, I wont be quitting!! I am going to do the 12 weeks on SS, last weigh in being 27th December which means I will be staying on plan on Christmas day. Then stepping up to Step 2 so having turkey and broccoli (and 1 sprout!) for my late Xmas dinner on the 27th. Step 2 for 1 week, then the next 12 weeks begins on 3rd Jan back on SS! Its all planned out, 1 christmas on cambridge Vs all the years Ive been miserable, its not a big sacrifice! Plus as E has had her 1st Xmas when she was 4 weeks old last year, and this year she will be only just over 1, she isnt aware that its any other day than a normal day so this year is the perfect time to stay on plan, stay on track and get to my goal by this time next year! :D
