Hello all!! I'll be seeing my consultant tonight and will be starting tomorrow. I've read some amazing posts and hope I can stay motivated although I am very determined.

My starting weight is 14 stones and I aiming to losing 3-3.5 stones.

Can't wait to start seeing the me I used to be !!!

Please comment and if anyone has weigh-ins on a Friday maybe we could buddy up? Even if not on a Friday it will be good to have motivators.

Hi dream - good luck with your consultant! Just have to get through the first week and you will be fine :) I have Friday weigh ins and tomorrow is week 9 for me. Hope it goes well!

Hi dream, my weigh in is on Monday. Week 3 for me, I only need 1/2 lb to get me to my first stone, would have been more if I'd have been 100% so it's very doable. Good luck with your first week. Keep us posted as to how you're getting on. X

Thank you all!!

@confuzzled - week 9!! Well done!! How have you found it? Is it getting easier? Today is day one for me and I have only just have a bottle of water. Will wait about 30minutes before I have a shake. Hope you're reaching your target weight

@Anne - well done Anne honestly! I can wait to say I did it. I can't wait to even say I've lost a stone. Do you think it's easier with time? I really don't want to quit so I'm going to stick with it no matter what. Good luck on your weight loss journey and I wish you all the best

Thank you all!

@confuzzled - week 9!! That's amazing. Well done. You just be so proud of yourself for sticking to it. Have you gone up a step or are you still on ss? How have you found it as well is it getting easier? Are you used to the routine now? I've just started today and have so far had a bottle of water. Will have a shake in 30minutes.

@Anne - 1lb till you lose a stone! Congratulations!! You've stuck through it for 3 weeks and I honestly cannot wait to say that I've lost a stone. Is it easy for you now? And did you also struggle with week one on the diet?

Hope you all achieve your target weight and I wish everyone the best on their weight loss journey x

Also after seeing my consultant she set a target weight of 9.5 stone!! That's 1.5 stones less than what I had targeted! Haha I guess if I can get there in 12 weeks then it's not too bad x

I found week one remarkably easy to be honest and when I stepped on those scales I was astounded to find out id lost 11lbs. That's more than I'd lost in the previous whole six weeks at weight watchers.
Week two was trickier as we had a meal out and then Mother's Day so I was happy with the 2.5lb loss that I achieved.
This week on the whole up and down. Had a major pig out on weds night but been 100% again since then. I'm hoping I still get a couple of lbs.
if you can get your head around the not eating part and get in a zone with it, it's easy and the weight drops off.
Good luck during your first week, I don't know how much you have to lose in total but I'm guessing you're going to be super impressed with yourself at weigh in. Just keep going 'cos it really does work! :) x

I'm currently 13.12 stones after weigh in yesterday and my target is 9.5. So I have 4.7 stones to lose so I hope I can get there. I am very determined and I don't think I will allow food to get in the way of my goals. The only person stopping me from achieving is myself. Once I get my mind in the right mind frame I believe I will achieve. Unfortunately I won't weigh-in this week as my consultant is travelling so I'll weigh in on week 2. Hopefully I get amazing results. The food will always be there and there's nothing worse than being trapped in a body you're not happy with. Keep going and keep yourself motivated !! I've got the whole of my family supporting me and this also helps a great deal x See you at the finish line xxx

Thanks so much x

Today was a bit challenging. The hunger pains were more than expected. Really enjoyed all I had today: chocolate mint shake, chicken and mushroom soup and a banana shake. Will be trying the oriental chilli soup tomorrow. Has anyone tried that flavour? Or the vegetable one?

Can't wait for day 2 but so far I've had 2.5 litres if water. I want to drink another 500ml in the evening a few hours before I go to bed. I've been visiting the loo quite frequently haha

Hi dream - I think it's different for everyone. For me I have really good days where I find it really easy, then some days that I just could eat anything - these days I just try and keep myself busy or get out and about. I have lost 2st 10lbs in 9 weeks want to lose another 2 and a half stone before my wedding in July so good motivation!

I can't stand any if the soups! Stick to mint choc, mango, banana and strawberry shakes with the odd lemon bar

Well done for sticking with it the hunger pains do get easier x

Not tried the soups personally but others on here have. Some love them some hate them. Trial and error I'm afraid until you discover what you like. X

Yeah I suppose it's trial and error :( but so far I like the chicken and mushroom soup. I've had to make spaghetti this evening for the family and this made me more motivated. I got my sister to do the tasting of everything as I want to ensure I go into ketosis very soon!!

I really wish I can have a bar however my consultant said not at this stage. Booo!!! :(( when I start getting back to work I may get the ready made shakes as it'll be easier to have throughout the day x

Hi Dream,

Good luck - it's a journey alright and a cracking frame of mind. If you can stick to it and get a really good consultant who'll work with you, you can do it for sure.

Shakes: I'm liking choc&mint, choc&orange, strawberry, banana and the choc one. Not tried mango yet.

Soups: I'm finding not brilliant, but gives a different taste so needed. Chicken & mushroom best so far.

Good luck - you can do it!

Hi everyone, I am a CD returner, I lost 15lbs for my wedding last month and managed to get into a size 10 dress (woo) since then I have managed to put ALL of the weight I lost back on plus 1lb (I'm not gonna lie, I enjoyed every lb). However this cannot go on and I am going to stop mucking about and get back to ssing as of monday. My WI is on a friday too so I would love to buddy up with you guys and get/offer support in those low moments. Hope you all manage a happy 100% week. :D

P.S my fave is the apple cinnamon porridge with way too much water and extra cinnamon, its like a creamy warm spiced white hot chocolate mmmmm

Hello Lan, well thank you very much. I do definitely agree that the soups have that "taste". Not exactly sure what that is though, but so far it's the only one I've tried. Oriental chilli is to come tomorrow. I usually don't experiment with food in a situation like this however my CDC ran out of other flavours :(

Cogger!! Congrats on your initial achievement of -15lbs and on your wedding too !! But Welcome back. We all have those times when food tastes so good we don't even care how much we put on. I've been in that position and the most important thing is that you're here now. It seems however like you don't have much to lose. How long did it take you the first time around to lose that weight? Wish you all the very best on your journey x

Guys I've been drinking 3 litres of water a day along with 3 cambridge meals and I feel so heavy and full as if I've just had a meal!! Does anyone else feel this way or is it just me?

Hi dreamchaser, thanks for the congrats and support. Sorry it took so long to get back to you I work shifts so I tend to drop off the face of the planet from time to time. I don't have a huge amount to lose, probably aim for 18lbs so I have some wriggle room. The first time I tried CD it took me about 4 weeks to shift the weight doing SS+ and step 3. So how have you been getting on this week? its day 1 for me (again) and its fine so far but I just no tomorrow is going to be TOUGH!!

Hello coggers,

Welcome back! Well I had to get weighed on my fourth day as my consultant has travelled away and on day four I lost 8lbs!!

Start weight: 13 stone 12lbs
Current: 13 stone 4lbs

As she is away this week, she's asked me to weigh myself on Sunday and let her know so that she can make a record. I'm hoping to jump into the 12 stones soon. Hopefully when I meet her next Wednesday things might be better.

Please update us on how things go with you !!

:winner: well done dream!!!! that loss must be a HUGE motivation for you, I know its worked for me. Its good of your cosultant to keep an eye on you while she is away.

Things this end are going quite well, first day ssing was ok except for headache, feeling sick, backache and general grumps (possibly down to my first night shift of the week and not the diet) Today I'm feeling really positive and thinking up devilish excuses to avoid food orientated socializing next week, really want a clear run at this before I have to have a break for my birthday. :sign0151:
