Hi. I started today on SS+ as I really can't do without my tea & skimmed milk. Im the heaviest I've ever been. It was a shock to the system to get weighed and measured last night. So far so good today ive liked my shakes. I had the toffee & walnut with 4 ice cubes & 300ml water. Later I had the fruits of the forest again with 4 ice cubes & 300ml water. I will try my last shake later...& finish my third litre of water.
I need to lose 4 stone in total. I have a week's holiday on 20th September in malta with my husband so my first aim is to lose as much as possible by then.
Once I come back I will go back on Cambridge & work up the steps, join a gym and be slim for life lol.
Hopefully I will be in ketosis soon.
 
Day 1 finished. ...3rd shake was chocolate mint. Had 4L of water in total. Drank 2 cups of tea with skimmed milk as well. Hopefully day 2 will go ok.
 
Thank you. My first weigh in is Sunday morning so it wont be a full week only 5 days. Im looking forward to seeing the scales go down!
 
Well done on your first day, get the first week out of the way and you are sorted!!!!

What did you CC say about the Milk? Will it not keep you out of ketosis

Im doing SS+ so you can have 200ml of skimmed milk. You just can't have a meal & skimmed milk. It has to be one or the other but you can switch it about every day like monday you have milk but no meal. Tuesday you can have meal but no milk etc. I think knowing I can eat a 200cal meal like chicken & salad will keep me going. It wont affect ketosis.

Day 3. Was out for the day shopping with my mam. Sat with her having a green tea whilst she had her lunch. Strange enough I wasnt bothered. I think my determination to lose 4 stone is stronger at the moment than a few chips! Hope it stays that way. Off to the pub this evening with the hubby water over wine hmmmm!
Saw some lovely clothes whilst out shopping but im not buying them in a size 18. Hard to believe 15 months ago I was a size 8-10. Stupid fertility issues and thyroid aghhhh !

dosnt it make you feel good when you can sit with a cuppa and are not bothered by what anyone else is eating.xx

Thanks im not sure if im in ketosis yet. I have no appetite. Im struggling today to have my third shake but I will have it as I know I must. Im having between 3 to 4 litres of water a day as well plus my teas with skimmed milk. No bad side effects as of yet.
 
The porridge is horrific. Congrats on getting this far already. Best of luck for your weigh in.
 
I actually like the porridge lol. Would be better with some jam tho ay :) xx
 
Day 5. I have a charity walk today. Its 4.5 miles. I should be ok as I feel fine. Everyone meets back in the pub after for tea & sandwiches and cake. I will just stick to my water & tea. I have my first weigh in 2moro morning. I have no idea how I have done but any loss I will take gladly :)
 
Just going at 10.30 for my weigh in. I dont know whether it was nerves or just the fact I have energy now on this diet but I did not sleep one bit last night. My mind just would not switch off. Im exhausted now!
