28lb - 28weeks - new yr - new me

mix healthy eating, calorie counting, slimming world

daily food diary, weekly Wednesday weigh in

Average weight loss aim 1lb per week

any tips, support and buddies would be helpful

climbing mountains starts with tiny steps and so my journey begins, to finally become the belle of the ball.
 
OK so day 1

breakfast - Quaker oats porridge and 300ml no added sugar squash.

Snack slice white today and 300ml no added sugar squash.

lunch - ham roll and 400ml no added sugar squash

tea lasagne 400ml no added sugar squash

So far so good today, no crisps sweets or snacks, my kids will be please as there will actually be some treats left in the house for them.

strange thing is I'm really conscious my kids don't have to many sugar snacks just don't apply the rules to myself, really need to get some self control.

any tips, support or buddies would be appreciated to keep me motivated.

Day 2

bacon roll for breakfast at kids sports day
ham roll for lunch
pasta bolognese for tea

probably haven't drink as much fluids as I would of liked to but will improve on that tomorrow.
 
Day 3

500 ml no added sugar squash
Lunch bacon roll 500ml no added sugar squash
tea beef casserole - currently in slow cooker

today is going better than yesterday, and I accept there will be days when I do better than others, just have to keep trying,

Ok, so i realise i wont be able to keep up with a daily food diary but i am going to log my weight on a wednesday in order to track my progress.
