Puddings Diet Chef journey

Hi all, looks like I'll be talking to myself, doesn't seem like a lot of people are here lol

I did Exante vlcd 3 years ago and lost a heap of weight, tried sooooooo many times to get back on it but after reading about a lady with a chemistry back ground saying she couldn't force herself to eat it as she knew what was in it I quickly too found myself unable to stomach it.

I'm currently on the waiting list for bariatric surgery but really Do not want to go down that route! So I'm desperately trying any means to lose this weight! I'm at my heaviest I have ever been, 19st 10lbs!

My last ditch attempt is diet chef, it sounds good, although a lot more expensive than Exante and slim and save I'm hoping the quality will be better.

It would be great to hear from anyone that has lost a lot of weight with DC.

I've ordered the 12 week plan, wish me luck please, I know I'm going to need it!!!

Well today is my first day on diet chef, I have to say everything I have tried so far has been lovely. Today I've had
Breakfast
original granola
Luch
Sweet potato and coconut soup
Dinner
Chicken tikka
snack
Maple popcorn

Very impressed with everything so far, feeling optimistic. Fingers crossed tomorrow goes just as well as today!

We have been invited to a wedding next July and it would be so nice to go not feeling self conscious.
I really hope this works x

Day 2
Pecan & treacle granola ( lush!)
Cream of tomato soup
Takha Dahl
Sour cream and chive pretzels

Really enjoyed everything I ate today! Have to say food is sooooo much better than Exante, I know it's not the same type of diet although DC is low Cal the carb content is higher I believe.

I have awful heartburn, had it since yesterday evening. Stomach acids will soon learn I'm not eating the old amount any more!

Still going good, I'm an emotional eater meaning any emotion can trigger me off! When I'm sad, nervous, happy, grumpy absolutely any extreme emotion sends me to food. I've attended a weight management course and it has helped a lot with understanding my trigger and ways to help, cbt has been fantastic for me. Just finding other ways to deal with my emotions. Onwards and downwards I hope, keeping it all crossed x

Still on DC, day 6 for me today! Going really well(touch wood)

The food is lovely, not had one thing I don't like so far! Weigh in day tomorrow, I'm not expecting as big a loss as I got with Exante as this diet has more calories and carbs plus I know my weight loss is so much slower now than it was a few years back! Thankyou very much menopause!

I'll be back tomorrow with my weigh in x

Weigh in today and I have gone from 19st 10lbs down to 18st 12lb! Very happy with that! 12lb loss!!! To be honest it doesn't really feel like a diet at tho mo, I'm hoping that will last!

I'm 5ft 3in so being a short arse I should really be between 7st7-10st10lbs to be within the healthy range so I have a shed load to lose still!! I would like to be around 8st7 eventually. At the moment I'm happy taking it a stone at a time. I'm hoping to reach goal within the year, so by April 2016 I'm praying to be 11st3lb lighter!!

Let's hope the weight loss doesn't stop now all my water weight has gone! Fingers crossed for the coming week! X

So I should have weighed this morning but I totally forgot so I'll weigh in the morning and update on my progress, please fingers crossed for a good loss!

I've got a night out planned for the beginning of July so would be so good to have lost a fair bit before then x

Weighed this morning 1 day late and I've lost 4lb! That is 16lb in 2 weeks 1 day! So so happy with that! Very motivated, loving diet chef x
