Tomorrow will be my first day. Looking forward to losing the weight. :)

Been shopping today got some no fat dairy and some cooked meat, made sure I have lots in for tomorrow so no cheating!!!

Good luck, Dukan is a fab diet and remember your oat bran x

Thanks for the encouragement Leah and sididd. :) Oh yes, had forgot about the oat bran, I already had some in which I bought last week.

meal plan for today is:
B- greek yog and oatbran (2tsp)
L- chicken breast
S- greek yogurt and oatbran (2tsp)
D- ham and eggs

am going to the gym today as I feel quite energetic and am guessing I will not fancy it for the next few days.

yesterday was easy and I feel just like I would any day. :D

don't know what I am going to do for dinners as I make it for the family in the week. think I will go to the supermarket and hope inspiration strikes.

Good to see you on here :) Just wondered if you're having too much oatbran? Attack I think is 1.5T a day and Cruise is 2T. If you feel like you're not losing quickly enough, try limit the dairy and cut out the ham. Dr Dukan does say limit dairy to 1kg a day. Good luck for the rest of your Attack! (How many days are you doing?)

I think I am sticking to the 1.5T of oat bran a day. on my first day I had 2 teaspoons twice. I think 1.5T is like 4 teaspoons. hopefully I got it right.

I am trying to eat more meat and eggs from now on instead of dairy as maybe I am eating too much. I don't know. I bought a load of meat and eggs yesterday so will cook them up today.

Thanks Pogmama, I will cut out the ham if the weight loss drops off, it is so yummy though ill keep it if I can. :) I also got a lean gammon joint, not sure if I can eat that though. may stick it in the freezer.

From the dukan website it says do attack for 6 days, today is day 3 so am nearly half way through.
Got the weight loss for life(or something like that) from the library so am reading that through.

I barley slept last night for some reason, so am knackered today.

I think 1t is 5ml and 1T is 15ml so I think what you're having is just under the recommended 1.5T. Not much but if you're allowed more, why not? :D

I didn't sleep well last night either so feel tired today. Must be the weather?? It's the first day of spring today!

You're nearly halfway through Attack, close to being allowed veggies :)

Today I ate/ plan to eat
B- greek yog
L- 2 chicken breast and oat bran porridge
S- chicken and quark wraps
D- zero cal noodles, chicken and yogurty sauce

I thought I would be missing veg and fruit big style by now as I usually eat a lot of them, but I am not at all, I think I could live on greek yog. :D

I have got some 5% fat pork mince, but in my dukan book it says no pork except ham. I don't get it as you can have up to 10% fat beef. I might eat it as I am getting sick of chicken, chicken and more chicken. lol

Oh yay first day of spring, looking forward to the better weather so can go walking more. :)

Sounds like you're doing really well! I've gone off chicken at the moment too. Bleurgh. Do you not eat seafood or eggs? I'm known for cracking open the odd tuna tin at work for snacks :D

Also he does advise (somewhere or other) to have your oatbran in one go... There are some fabulous recipes for the oatbran too, whereas you probably barely notice it spooned in a yoghurt in such tiny quantities. We make muffins, cakes, galettes, bread with ours!

Yes you'll need to vary a bit before you get very bored with it, which can be fatal of course when temptation is around... not sleeping well initially is something I have always suffered from, but few others mention it so I've tried not to dwell. I'm not sure if it's the extra protein but I always sleep far less on this diet so my days are longer!! Excellent stuff!

x

went a bit off plan with a massive bag of mixed salted nut today. :break_diet:

going food shopping to get lots of different on plan foods so it doesn't happen again.

Last day of attack today. :D am looking forward to veggies now.
went to gym yesterday for half an hour and planning to go again today.

Hi Abi, how's it going? Are you enjoying your veg at last? :)

Hi Abi good luck with the beautiful journey, I have found once you get over bad temptations in the beginning it gets so much easier. I always have quick foods in the fridge at all times including hard boiled eggs, cooked beef and Greek yogurt in case I get a snack attack. Also my daughter who is 7 stays with me twice a week and has a separate food cupboard. This is my second time and this diet works and I know I wont be going back to my old ways. Good luck :)
