I haven't tried it myself yet as I'm a bit squeamish of raw yolk:eek:...recipe is....

Dukan Nutella

(1 serving)

Prep time: 5 mins
No cooking required

1 egg yolk
1 tsp fat reduced cocoa
2 tbsp aspartame
A little water

Mix together all the ingredients until smooth

:)

Aargh, me too! Might wait till hubby here to try it - then if I'm ill he can look after the kids!

I wonder if it might be better to flavour a tiny drop of custard with cocoa and then smear that on something....2 tolerates granted but at least the birds custard wont kill you :D x

p.s. I've tried cocoa in yog/from frais/quark....and it's pointless as you get that acidic aftertaste :( x

I mix yoghurt, cocoa, splenda and hazelnut flav which reminds me of nutella (bizarre that I am now having the yoghurt mix every night yet I very seldom ate nutella!)

I have to have loads of sweetener if I have cocoa, don't we have a limit to the amount of sweetener we're meant to have?

Hi guys,

Going to give this a go tonight as I have saved my pancake for this evening rather than having it for breakfast as I usually do! Can I just ask what brand of low fat cocoa you are all using. Have struggled to find anything much better than Cadbury Highlights in Tesco which I know is not the best!

Apparently the best to use is Tesco's own brand (found in larger stores) it's in a red box and is the only one as far as I know which meets the criteria for dukan

other than that - there is some available on the dukan shop site - but I think that like most things on there - it'll be expensive x

alottolose is correct, the best one I've found is Tesco Value Reduced Fat Cocoa. I found mine in a Tesco Extra store near me. It's 11g of fat which is the lowest I've seen.

yup tesco have repackaged thier fat reduced coco its in plain box now with brown writing its still quite bitter tho!

I mix yoghurt, reduce fat cocoa, sweetner and hazelnut flavouring. I did try the egg yolk version, but it was too 'eggy' for me :/ A nice topping for the galette :)

i like to just put a spoonful of coco powder into the galette mix when i fancy a bit of a chocolate hit, its quite nice!!
