Total Solution 2013 - Lozatronic's Diary

Lost a stone and a half on Exante between October 29th and December 14th (the night of my work Christmas party), the plan was to return to eating normally over the holidays and just to try and not put on any weight between then and the new year and then return to total solution after the holidays.. was all going great until Christmas Day.. lol.. had actually lost an additional 2 lbs.. but I have to admit to eating anything I felt like the last week of the hols  and am anticipating i've put a fair few pounds back on in the last week or so, all will become clear when I weigh myself this evening, but not going to worry about it, starting total solution again today and the goal is to lose at least 5 and a half stone between now and the beginning of July, so committing to total solution for the whole of Jan at the very least, then will adjust accordingly later on, but plan on sticking with Exante one plan or another till the job is done.

I know the first few days are going to be tough.. in fact i've already had a bit of a wobble, which is what really inspired me to start writing this.. when I started Exante the first time last year, some other folks started the same day as me and speaking to them on here really helped me as did reading other diary's, so, seeing as i've got quite a long road ahead, figured it's better to start my own thread! :)

To anyone starting today that might be reading this, good luck! :)

Hiya! :)

I started Exante Total yesterday (1st Jan cliche! lol) but i am going to hit my goal this year and make it over to the 'maintainers' section, I am determined! I have 4st 12lbs to lose, and i do have a goal to lose 3st 12lbs by April as im visting family. Best of luck for your journey, a lot of us have started now as its a new year so im sure you will find a lot in the same boat :) xx

Right, i'll admit, I had a total false start last week, just wasn't in the right headspace, now the decorations are down and i've done some spring cleaning i'm ready! ;-)

Will weigh myself this evening.. not looking forward to it :-( and here I go again! :)

Good Luck hun :D

I look forward to reading up on your progress xx

Reluctantly updated statistics.. am back up to 16st 6lbs.. but want to add that I thought it was going to be worse.. lol

Only got myself to blame after totally falling off the wagon and not following a healthy eating regimen over the hols.. if I can get back to under 15 and a half stone by the end of the month i'll be happy! :)

Anyway, onwards and upwards.. or should that be downwards?!

Note to self.. concentrate on drinking water.. it's the only way to help yourself..

Good luck both of you!! You will do amazing xx

honestly, this diary/journey is getting off to an abysmal start.. I have failed miserably at attempt number 2 to restart..

the positives.. I have been been sticking to shakes for brekky and lunch, but haven't been sticking to a healthy no-carb option in the evening at all.. :-(

I had so much willpower before the hols.. I need to find it again and fast, I know it's in here somewhere.. I'm going to weigh in on Friday and attempt to start 100% then (prefer a friday weigh in to a monday anyway) and take myself to the gym over the weekend to try and give myself a boost..

I'm a creature of habit and getting back into the swing of working a full week is helping, just not fully there yet.. just need to break the home in the evening need for comfort..

Going to try and not think about the fact i've already wasted a week and half of the new year and think of it as 'ramping up to the big push', that way I don't feel like too much of a failure.. lol

you can do this and you proved you can before xmas put the false starts behind you and just concentrate on the next go!

You can do anything you put your mind too!! :)

Thanks everyone.. feeling good today.. getting over the January blues.. feeling confident I can crack it this time..

Weighed myself yesterday to try and shock myself into action and have actually somehow managed to still lose 2 lbs since Monday

New plan is to do working solution till Monday, then go 100%, I think with a couple more days of being good and relatively healthy under my belt i'll be good to go.. want to make sure i'm ready.. I know it kinda sounds like i'm just giving myself excuses not to start today and that's probably true.. but I know what i'm like and I need to fully convince myself i'm ready in order to succeed.. i'm a stubborn git.. lol Starting to feel like I really 'want it' again which has been missing for this last week or so.. I think seeing myself sweating and panting in the mirror whilst i'm on the cross-trainer at the gym over the coming weekend will be the final straw!

Hee-hee! Through to Friday and I've cracked it!

Still 100% and back below the weight I was before Chrimbo! :)

It's been a tough couple of days, but major cravings gone!

As an FYI for anyone reading this, thought I should mention that instead of doing a week food break, I'm doing working solution on the weekend and 100% in the week.. I'd read of someone else on here who did this and it worked better for them as they didn't break their cycle too much and found that easier..

So back 100% today and am doing ok.. Will weigh in Friday again!

Good luck for the week everyone!

That working solution on the weekend sounds like a good idea, how are you finding it? xx

Well it's weigh in day and I've lost 2lbs!

Was a tad disappointed, but did have a couple of glasses of red wine last weekend and I haven't done any exercise, so it's all good! In Ketosis, have done the test.. Going to be extra good this weekend and get myself to the gym! If I keep losing 2+ pounds a week, I'll be happy!

Only problem with working solution on the weekends is Monday is more of a struggle, but tbh, I think less of a struggle than it would be after a whole week off!

:)

Well Friday weigh in day wasn't expecting much as again haven't managed to stay off the vino, haven't been to the gym and did working solution for an extra 2 days this week, but hey-ho another 2 lbs lost!!!

Happy.. At my age (38) I don't think it's good to lose it all too quick though and at this rate I'll be getting close to my goal weight by summer!

:)

Well done on your weight loss so far :)
