Hello everyone,

Thought I would start a diary to help me log my progress and hopefully get to know some of you :)

I originally started Exante in March 2012 at 22st 4lbs , I did amazingly well and lost 10st reaching 12st 5lbs around November 2012. I felt wonderful although I still had a little more to lose. However in January 2013 I found out I was expecting a baby, I didn't get chance to form any non-Exante diet habits and as a side affect during pregnancy I suffered with low blood sugar and low blood pressure. I started needing to eat regularly and my body craved sugar if I didn't eat something I would faint. I did eventually get this in control but sadly I had put back on a huge amount of weight.

So here I am again knowing I can do this and with no more baby plans (husband is taking care of that one thankfully) I have no reason not to maintain at the end of this part of my journey.

I started again 01/01/2014 at 18st8lbs my last weigh in was 31/01/2014 and I was 16st10.4lbs, so my loss so far is 25.6lbs, I am very pleased with this!

This last week I had 3 meals out for various celebrations, I did eat at 2 but chose chicken and salad, the other 1 I abstained, my only vice was a slice of birthday cake. I have been 100% TS since Saturday and not weighing till Friday in the hope I haven't caused any damage.

Anyway I look forward to getting to know you all and best of luck on all your journeys. x

Hi and welcome. WOW! You did amazing the first time round.

Congrats on the baby and good luck 2nd time round. Well done on the 25lbs lost already xx

Well done on your loss so far, you know you can do this, as your amazing loss at your first attempt shows - good luck with it and please keep us posted.

Hi Willow. Welcome to the forum & well done on such a brilliant loss so far,

Evening all and thank you for all the welcomes! Had another 100% day today but felt so hungry I ended up having all 3 packs before 4pm, almost bedtime now so will be safe once I am tucked up. :)

It's my weigh in tomorrow morning and it's the first since I have had some food and also the first time I haven't weighed myself everyday. Really hope I have lost as have been so good since Saturday, not long till I find out, quite nervous.

Fingers crossed for tomorrow Willow :fingerscrossed:

Have you thought about any mini goals to help you along the way.
There are some challenges on here that are also good for helping stay on track.

Hi Susie,

I have added myself to the February challenge to start with, when I am good I average a 4lb loss so hoping I will be saintly this month. I like to buy a new pair of jeans in the next size down to give me an idea of my losses, my current size 20's are massive but my size 18's are not quite there however I can get them on. Flash back a few weeks and they wouldn't get up over my thighs.

Will add some goals on here when I manage to work out how to do it. Well done on your re-start and losses your doing great! :)

Well, weigh in was great I have lost 3.4lbs since Friday and I am now 16.7lbs exactly, so 4st off my target weight. Really pleased with myself as I tried to make good choices when eating last week and have been 100% this week.

Had a target of 20/02 to reach 16st so may just do it fingers crossed. x I found it hard not weighing everyday and I am not sure how much difference it makes but going to get husband to hide the scales again till next week. x

Wow that is good going & that's with the meals, well done. You should be able to get to the 16st by then willow if you stay TS. Fitting into smaller clothes is a big motivator on this diet isn't it. Especially as the time spent in them isn't very long as the weight drops off so quickly. Goes part of the way to making the hard times worth it. Daily weigh in's not good for most of us but so hard to resist x

You're doing fab Willow :D

Hi Willow. Welcome to the forum. You did amazingly well to lose so much before. How have you done today?

Still doing well, Saturdays are always busy running around after the kids so keeps me distracted.

Today should be a bit calmer and my husband is taking kids off so I can get my OU assignment done, will have some nice peace hopefully.

I have been so hungry though for the last few days and developed a major headache last night which I still have now. Going to try and up the water although I am already drinking loads.

Hi Willow. You're doing great. It will get easier!

Well worked out my headache issue, caffeine withdrawal, I normally have 2-3 cups of coffee a day and everything else is de-caf. I missed my morning one yesterday and would normally have one after putting kids to bed but had tea instead, headache came on last night and didn't budge all night and this morning until I had a cup of coffee. It's amazing the affects these things have on us we don't realise how much our body relies on it till we take it away.

:)

Glad your headache has gone. Hope the rest of the day goes well.

Good morning Willow and well done on the 3.4lbs lost. Have a great day xx

Hi Willow. Hope you have a good day today. Stay strong!
