Total Solution The Banana diaries

I didn't really know if it was right to start a diary being a newbie, but my thinking is that it might help me as much as anyone else if I have somewhere to write down how I am getting on each day.

Day 1 is today. Over the last few weeks I have tried a few days here and there of Exante and managed to stick to them, which I find absolutely amazing since I haven't managed to stick to any kind of diet over the last approx 4 years and have just piled and piled the pounds on. It is such a relief to find something that feels like it will work :). I think the massive variety of products is the main reason why.

I have tried LT previous and could only do a couple of weeks. It is so restrictive and the mere thought of some of the LT shakes makes me want to vomit.

I am mostly going to be having bars and shakes, just being able to chew something really helps. I don't love the meals but again I love having the variety and the option to have something hot other than a soup so they will come in handy.

I will post some pics at some point, I have only just joined so still getting to grips with how it all works.

Would be great to chat to others along the way :)

Having a double chocolate bar for breakfast. One thing I really love about the bars is that you don't have to have them all in one go. I have half around 0930 and half a little later on. Just keeps me going a little longer :)

Hi bananboo & welcome to the forum. The diary will definitely help you stay on track & accountable to yourself. There are some useful insights on everyones diaries so well worth having a read of some of them.

I usually take a bar to work with me & nibble at it during stops while travelling from one place to another. It lasts a good few hours that way & I don't end up feeling deprived.

Hope your day goes well x

Thanks for saying hello :)

It is great advice to read the diaries that is pretty much what I am doing now (as well as working!). They are all very inspirational and it's nice reading about the different motivations and goals people have. More than anything it gives me hope and I haven't feel this motivated for such a long time.

Hope your day goes well too! x

Oh thanks good luck to you too!

Well I managed to get through day 1 woohoo! I just had the shepherds pie for dinner and I really like it. Was a bit reluctant to try it as some people say it's horrible but I thought it was tasty. Well as far as diet food goes anyway ha.

Strangely yeh lol I actually thought I was eating normal food at one point. Defo going on my lost of favourites. Which others do you like?

Spaghetti bols and chilli lush too. I like carbonara, when I make it 'right' but there seems to be less of that? I think that's probably just me n my imagination! X

Day 2 - so far so good, I get up at 6am and start work at 7am. It has been really busy so I haven't had time to think about anything. I have just been sipping water and suddenly realised it's 1015am and I haven't even had my bar yet. Work days will definitely help me keep distracted! It is my days off I am worried about

I love the Shepherds pie. Its the only one that actually tastes like proper food. My second favourite is the choc orange bar from s&s.

Hope today goes well for you x

Thanks Susie, so far so good. Looking forward to going home now it has been a long day. In an hour I will be able to have some of that lovely shepherds pie!! I hope you've had a good day too x

Hey bananaboo - didn't realise you had started a diary too :) we'll be diary buddies as well!

Hope you enjoyed your dinner - I'm counting the hours till bedtime - struggling today

Yeh I have lol. Might be good for when I need to vent.

Dinner was lovely I do enjoy these shepherds pies.

I keep thinking I'll go to bed early to avoid food but I'm feeling really wired, I did last night too so not sure if I'd sleep anyway. Guess my body's getting used to the changed in diet.

I'm feeling strange too - like all my joints ache - my knees, ankles and hips and fingers are really uncomfortable? Wonder if that is anything to do with the diet?

We have done 2 days!! Woop woop! :)

I know it's amazing right! I haven't stuck to anything properly like this for years.

Sorry you're aching. It could be the diet, I guess there will be some side effects especially at first.

Hey! You have a pic :) gorgeous lady :)

Haha yes I am now allowed a pic!
