Third week on Total

I still seem to be going strong. I've managed to overcome a couple of different food temptations and I'm still 100% going into my third week on Total. I'm really pleased with myself because I usually struggle to get past one week without lapsing in some small way. It's just great to see the weight constantly reducing!!! :) Very happy!

Well done. I'm also on my third week 100% too but haven't weighed yet.

Hi
I have also started week 3 today. My loss has been a bit disappointing just 4.5lbs in 2 weeks. That is on TS and not put a foot wrong. I used 400 calories at the gym today so hopefully I will have a better loss next week. :)

Mere, do not worry. You don't have to loose as much as many people on here so if you think of it as a % you can be much happier with the loss. Some people loose weight slower than others. The numbers are heading in the right direction and that's all that matters. You should be so proud of your persistence and dedication! Maybe light exercise will help as well. Best of luck to you! X

Hi Lesley, well done on 100% , over a stone already that's fantastic!
Mere, muscle weighs 3 times more than fat so I'd check your measurements as sometimes you lose inches as well as lbs. especially as you're doing such great gym workouts.
Great loss Angel89, I've not quite got to a stone yet but I have been 100%. Well done.

Hi Angel
Thank you for your comments. Support like yours will help me to stick with it. Been back at the gym today and keeping my fingers crossed for a good loss next week.:)

I forgot to say, well done Le5ly and sparkyjay for being 100% going in to the third week! Le5ley your weight loss so far is amazing!

I am in my third week now too. I kind of used to it now, although what I've found hard is socialising. It's amazing how much going out revolves around food and drink. I went on a night out on Wednesday and had 4 vodka diet mixers (I know, very stupid when in ketosis!). I got drunk but I wasn't as sick like I expected, just a normal kind of hangover. It's just not worth the calories though... Stupid peer pressure! I think next time I'll stick to my guns and have a sober night on diet coke. I suppose I need to get used to these little challenges. I think it will reflect on the scales when I next weigh myself but we will see.

Mere, no problem at all, that's really kind. I think you can expect a nice surprise next time you weigh yourself with your gym time!

Angel72, thanks so much and congrats too on a fab weight loss so far! It's amazing to think how different things could be if we had not chosen to loose weight a few weeks ago. We can all be so proud of making that choice and heading in the right direction!

How ya doin Le5ley? Haven't seen you for a day or 2 hope all is well.

Hi guys, I'm doing fine, but did give into temptation and peer pressure at the weekend. I managed to make reasonably good food choices which would almost fit in with the lite version of Exante. However I did have alcohol which put me out of ketosis. I made a conscious decision to accept a lower weight loss this week, so at least I knew what I was doing and what the result would be and the result was only losing 1lb this week.

I got back on track last night and I think I'll be back into Ketosis by the end of tomorrow.

I have 4 week now before I need to worry about food again. At the end of February I'll be going to a conference in Luxemburg and I'm not sure what my options will be, but I'll try my best to stick to it or to low carb.

I'm thinking about joining a gym this week to get going with some exercise (I think I want to reverse the set back from the weekend) so I'll have a look into that tomorrow.

I hope you've all had a good week. xx

Also, I'm not sure if I've said this already, but I have a calendar at work with a wee sticker at June saying Glastonbury!!! Each day that I stick to the plan I colour in the day on the calendar. It's a bit weird, but it feels good to go in the next day and know that I get to colour in a day. It was horrible this morning not being able to colour Sat/Sun, but I'll just keeping trying to colour in as many days as possible!!! :)

What a fabulous idea about the calender, we should start a list of coping techniques to add to. It's a bit like on the tv programme 'I used to be fat' where they have a massive wall calender. You say only 1lb but it'll be pure fat, think of the weight of a bag of sugar, it's heavy! I'm proud of you for keeping controlled and making choices instead of letting loose. Well done.

I think colouring in days is a great idea. What colour do you choose for WI days?

Thanks guys. I'm 100% back into it yesterday and today. Plus I went to visit a gym today, so think I'll be joining one tomorrow night. Doing some gentle exercise should help keep the weight loss going! My calendar is coloured with purple and it was great to be able to colour in yesterday when I went in this morning. It's the first time I've got back into the plan so quickly!
