Want to give exante one last shot. Done well before but now have a minimum if 5st to loose. Can anyone tell me what got them through and how they kept it off

Thanks

Feeling the difference in my clothes! It's getting into a routine as well though, isn't it.

I desperately need to go back to the gym but I haven't found the motivation yet!

Good luck x

The loss on the scales and the ability to wear all the lovely smaller clothes in my wardrobe - today I had on a pair of trousers that I love that I've not worn in forever and I couldn't have done that 10 days ago :)

Give it another go, it'll be so worth it xx

Thanks Katie

I weighed today and am up to 100.6k about 15st 12lbs. OMG I am totally out of control. Today I am going to be 100%. I have a wedding in August and have an outfit that my sister gave me but its a 10 and I would love to fit into it. I am not a big lover of clothes but this is a stunning outfit and therefore, this is my goal. I think I would need to be 9st to fit into it but here goes nothing :)

Target get to 9st
Must loose 6st 12lbs

Well made it through day 1 without to much bother. It is funny how by about 3 pm the voices in my head started to say just do healthy eating don't starve while at the same time working out a justification for eating an entire packet of biscuits all in the name of healthy eating lol. My brain really clearly doesn't want to help my body to be health. Lol

Dear Weelanie,

It is all relative hun. 100kg is actually my first major goal! ;)

However I will say the voices in yuor head will subside after a while. Cravings and the like are your body's way of going 'ere! what's going on!!' as it doesn't like drastic changes. However it gets used to the new regime soon enough and the cravings subside. (Not go away, but get quieter and less frequent. More manageable. Trust me ;) )

Sometimes you may find that food smells are more delicious, and the colours in adverts are a little brighter, and occasionally you might crave things you havn't eaten in years! (I've been a veggie for nearly 15 years, and it's surprising what suddenly becomes incredibly attractive) however you just have to realise it's your own biology playing mind games with you, dismiss it, or distract yourself with something. nothing's going to happen to you if you tell your head not to be so daft and go away. (Once you crack that then in a few weeks diet bordom will set in, but that's a different problem entirely...)

5st does seem like an enormous mountain to climb (tell me about it! I was on a real downer yesterday about the 5 st) however if you're dedicated 5 st in 6 months is achievable. If you're really lucky (or in my case, have a monstrous start weight) then 5 st in 5 months might actually be doable.

6 months from now is 16th July. what could you be wearing on 16th July? summer dresses? strappy tops? running the local race for life? Whaever you do with it, 6 months is still going to pass and you don't get it again. Therefore you might as well do something useful with it.

Good luck x

p.s.

There's never such thing as a 'last chance'. Don't put so much pressure on yourself. enjoy the trip. :)

Thanks so much for your reply miss D. You are totally right and I just really need to get in with it. How long have you been doing exante and what are your loses like?
