Fitness DVDs/Workouts help

Proud to be a LOSER :)
Hi there!

I am looking to follow a workout routine at home alongside WW. When I first did WW I was going to the gym etc but as I am saving for a holiday now, and money is a bit tighter, I will have to make do with home!

I have JM's 30 day shred DVD... and got to Level 2 last year... but if I'm honest it's quite boring to hear her repeating the SAME things again so am reluctant to get it out (even though I know it's a good one as I ached for ages afterwards and I've seen great before and after photos online!)

I was tempted to just get some HIIT moves from youtube and create my own workout... but there's something quite exciting about following a routine (like 30DS) that has a specific end-date at least 1st time round!

Is anyone currently/has anyone completed anything like P90X or Insanity or T25?? Would you recommend them and be able to tell me more about them ie. duration, results, equipment, space (i like in a 1st floor flat!).

Many thanks!

Tried JM Shred years ago and couldnt get into it.

Agree with you on a structured program - I need someone to tell me what to do :p.

Have done Alpha and halfway Beta Focus T25 as well as a couple of weeks of Rockin Body. Now in phase 2 of Chalean Extreme - not yet done P90X.

My thoughts:

- If you looking for a cardio routine both T25 and Rocking Body are amazing. No equipment required for either (except a resistance band for later stages of T25 - altho I have heard you can do without).
- If you like dancing - go with Rockin Body. Shaun T is just so corny there and makes it fun - a 45 min video just flies by! But does require a little more floor space - think two wide steps both right and left from starting point. Videos average out at 45 mins.
- If you are looking at lifting/strength training - Chalean Extreme - love it love it love it! Her strength circuits require minimum space but you will need to invest in some type of resistance equipment (bands or weights). She has two cardio days and for them you do a bit of jumping - space required: about as much as you'd need for a jumping jack. Videos average out at 45 mins.

I only stopped T25 coz life got in the way (and I'm not a big fan of cardio :p). But when your pushed for time - nothing can beat 25 minutes of Shaun T yelling at you.

Hope I helped with your decision xx

Thanks hun! Definitely considering t25 now :)
