12 week bikini body plan - who's up for the challenge?!

After realising my holiday is 13 weeks away I've been looking up 12 week fitness plans and came across this one which looks like it will do a lot of good. I personally love weights so it suits me down to the ground :)

would anyone one like to join me and see how much we can change our bodies in 12 weeks?

you do need a couple items of basic equipment (dumbells and a resistance band) or a gym membership but you can pick these items up pretty cheaply in most supermarkets.

I plan on starting on Monday 14th April. Who's in? :D
 
Im in! Glutes today haha best get my butt down the gym.
 
Haha glutes was a lot harder than i thought. I was absolutely drenched when i left the gym.

Oops hit enter too soon! I've done an exercise DVD and will use my treadmill whilst watching eastenders lol. I forgot Hubby's on nightshift and I need him to watch the sprats and help me out with form etc. I think I'll need to wait until Wednesday to start now :cry:

Is is it really hard? I'm not the fittest person in the world so don't want to die trying it :eek:
 
The bar bell exercises are tough but you can lower the weight. I do a lot of strength training so i was doing 20kg but id recommend 10kg tbh lol i was being stupid.
 
How's your botty feeling today Lou, feeling the burn? :) I can't wait to start, I'm so impatient!
 
My booty is fine but my arms and shoulders are killing haha. Did day 2 today and also went hill walking for an hour so im ready for bed haha!
 
I finally managed day 1! OOFT felt it in my booty doing the thrusts :) how are day 2 and 3?
 
woohoo! I posted the alternative moves on my diary for you. They should be easy enough to do at home with the help of mr.google. Don't look Dan in the eye when doing hip thrusts lol ;)
 
Day 2 is hard after the barbells of day one but i glided through day 3 :)
 
well done you lou! My legs are aching today!!! I used 25kg for the barbells and then my body weight for the others and I'm FEELING it!!

Doing shoulders after tea i think .... eek!!
 
Well done numnum :) ive had to give day 4 a miss as ive got lower back damage so i put in 30min cardio instead. Looking forward to day 5 i love leg workouts
 
Ooo back damage isn't good! Hope it doesn't cause you too much grief. Shoulders done and I threw in the abs circuit today too followed by my dvd as my trotters couldn't face the treadmill again afters yesterdays beasting :) I have no upper body strength at all so I found today quite hard and no doubt tomorrow will be the same ... why do we do this to ourselves?!
 
Ah ive had the back damage for 7 years now so im used to it. We do it to be happy but my god is it sore haha!
 
After a rocky start finally finished week 1. Starting to really enjoy it now :)
