Hello, I've decided to set up a little diary for myself. I won't be posting everyday, but I wanted somewhere to record my journey. I've been doing Slimming World for a few months now, I've lost a few pounds but I haven't really stuck to it at the weekends. I'm a bit fed up with counting syns and healthy extras, so I thought I'd try something new. I've started reading a book by Patrick Holford called Optimum Nutrition Made Easy. I'm going to start off by following his guidelines for healthy eating. My main aim is healthy eating and exercise. I already do a little bit of exercise, but not enough. I'm going to try and go to a few more fitness classes at the gym and do some more walking. I'm also going to include lots of water and sometimes herbal tea :)
I'm currently in the 10 stone bracket (which is over weight for my height), and my first goal is to get into the 9's :)

Hello, I'm starting my mornings at the moment with porridge made with Alpro almond milk. I'm really enjoying it :) I'm going to start adding strawberries as well to help towards my 5 a day :)
 
I've decided that I'm going to stay away from bread, unless desperate. Since doing Slimming World I've been having very little bread and sticking to Ryvita at lunch time instead. I defiantly prefer it, and I think I have less bloating too (always a bonus) :)
 
I haven't done much exercise this week. I've been feeling quite tired, I think it's because I'm coming up to *star* week. I'll try and make more effort next week :)

Why is everything such a struggle when you have depression, losing weight just seems impossible for me right now :(

Breakfast - Porridge with Alpro almond milk

Snack - 1 mini Calippo

Lunch - 3 Linda McCartney Italian sausages, broccoli, plain cous cous

Snack - 4 Ryvita, 1 Philadelphia light mini tub, 1 apple
