5 Stone loss, 4 to go. Low carber needing a change!

Hi all!

I thought I'd join as I'm in need of inspiration and support!

I've been doing Low Carb (Keto) for about a year and a half now, and lost most of my 5 stone on it. I've learned a lot about my body and how it reacts to certain foods, and certainly learnt to be a better cook and experiment with more vegetables etc.

I do find my self getting increasingly unhappy with the restrictions though, I have to cook seperate meals for myself and my partner every day, I don't enjoy the grease any more and in general I'd just like to change the type of foods I eat and introduce more of the vegetables I *do* like, like Parsnips and sweet potatos. I've always had a vegetable problem, but I've got so much better as my cooking skills have improved.

This isn't a decision I've taken lightly, I've been doing my current diet long enough to work out what I want and don't want, and at the moment my happiness is at stake (mmm, steak!).

I'm going to give slimming world a shot, I don't have a problem sticking to a diet or lifestyle change, I just think it's time I changed it up and found one I can enjoy a little more.

Part of me does think I'm being silly about changing what seems to work for me, but the other part reminds me of all the above reasons for changing. After all, if it doesn't work then I can go back to low carb right?

Look forward to chatting with you all!
