Hello

Hi! My name is Lisa and I'm 23 years old.

I have been overweight since I was about 17, I have always felt unconfortable with my body but I had never thought anything of it, I was tall enough to get away with it, until now. I have gone past over weight to OBESE! Everyone around me says that I don't need to lose weight and that I'm beautiful as I am. However, reccently my parents have started to mention that I'm getting bigger buit they dont offer me the support I need to make they changes.

I want to finally feel comfortable with my body and be happy. I know I will never be a size 8, I have boobs and a bum which I like, but I do want to be slimmer if not to feel comfortable, at least for my health.

I hope to lose over 60lbs with a healthy balanced diet and excercise. My one major down fall is my sweet tooth, I love chocolate and when I get emotional its the one thing I turn too. Eating chocolate has almost become a habit of mine, I will have a bar in the morning and probaly with lunch and then another after tea. So I feel my first major challange will be reducing the amount of chocolate i consume on a daily basis (really doesn't help that easter is just around the corner)

I will also be starting my food diary today for any one that wants to track my progress :)

Hope everyone is enjoying the sun!

Hi Lisa!

Wishing you all the best, hope your getting on ok.

Small steps hey in kicking the chocolate habit - when you say no to a bar or you resist your morning treat- remember how that empowerment feels!

Hi Lisa,

Don't know if this will help, but you could try a low calorie hot choc when you have the craving or buy a small bar of good quality dark chocolate and have a small piece when the craving kicks in.

Good luck with your weight loss.

Thanks Ladies.

I'd doing well this week hardly eaten any chocolate this week, just a small amount on Monday so feeling positive.

However I do have a small collection of Easter eggs at home which seems to be growing.

Sounds like you are doing really well. My husband is coming for a quick weekend visit, he arrives tomorrow (he works away) and will be bringing easter eggs and choc for the children - I must resist.

Maybe you can take your eggs to work/uni? Then leave them on a table for everyone to help themselves, this would hopefully make you feel really good. Or donate them to a local school for raffle prizes?

If you have the most amazing will power ever, you could always keep them, ration them and see how long they last.

Good luck xx
